Cristain WASN'T going to takes Luc's eye.
Actually he was going to stop Alicent but Deamon stopped him from reaching Alicent.
Since it's a call back when Cristian called Rhaenyra a cunt.
Alicent said they had to be more righteous? Compared to their foes. That they had to remind the other if they faltered.
So no Cristian did NOT want to take Luc's eye he wanted to stop Alicent and remind her, she had to be better.
Honestly I understand you putting daemon so high on the list but despite doing some bad things he had good intentions behind almost all of it. Even in the early episodes he was going to war and using the city watch to strengthen his brothers rule and saw through Otto Hightower’s manipulation. He wanted to marry rhanerya and strengthen their claim in old Targaryen tradition and it was a fantastic idea that ended up happening anyway. He treated his wife and daughters well and only ever killed people who wronged him or his family, it was never unprovoked murder. Idk maybe I just love the rogue prince a lil too much tho

Larys is more evil than Otto, IMO. He murdered his own family. Literally burned them alive. It doesn't get much worse than that.

You left out that Alicent is fully aware of Larys killing his brother and father/Rhaenyra's children's actual father and that she also ordered the burning of the White Worm's house and possibly killing her messengers. She deserves to be way higher on the list

Lmao Rhaenyra proposing marriages for her sons is not the same thing as offering than Lannister dodo your daughter who basically told her that he's the constellation prize for her losing her place as heir since her father has a son now. Rhaenyra proposed marriage alliances that would strengthen her children's claim, not weaken it. That's the difference.
Yeah but it's still using them as to her pawns . They were not asked about their opinions. I understand that children had almost no say about their marriages during those days. But the principle behind Rhaenyra and Viserys thought process was based on the same old dynastic patriarchal mold. Rhaenyra wasn't proposing anything ground breaking, just trying to secure her advantage through her children which she accused her father of.
Plus they seem pretty happy with their betrothals, unlike Rhaenyra who would’ve been unhappy with her marriage to Jason.

Forgive me but.. I fail to categorize this as hypocrisy because of one simple thing. She criticized and hated her own betrothal as a 14 year old girl. The rhynera that promises her children for marriage is twenty.seven.years.old. Have you never said or expressed views as a teenager that you have gone against as an adult? Are people not allowed to alter their perspective on things as they mature? Despite criticizing the whole concept as a 14 year old, she still accepted the system, got married and started pumping out babies since that's the system that is in place and she will never be powerful without, to some extent, conforming to it. So I genuinely don't see how it's hypocrisy when she does the same thing with her children, when she herself did it! It would be hypocrisy had she NOT gotten married or something of the sort and wanted her children to regardless. We shouldn't hold a 14 year Olds views hostage over a 27 year Olds actions.

Larys Strong is the most evil to me but Otto is responsible for the Dance of the Dragons by not letting Alicent and Aegon live the life that they want.

I’d put Criston cole up higher on the list. He literally thought, after 1 night with him, Rhanyera would give up everything, her home, her crown, her duty and her relationship with her father, the King to run away with him to live a life as a wife of a sellsword. And acts like the epitome of an incel when she refuses. Who does he think he is , Podrick ? We seriously need to know what Podrick did to those ladies of the evening that they refused payment
I don't think he did anything. The ladies were playing a trick on the men who paid for them to have sex with Podrick. It certainly kept them guessing.
Poderick, Tyrion, Bronn and Jamie would roast the f out of Crispin (as Daemon once called him) Cole.
Coles only fault was believing in Rheny and that she was a good person. If that wasn’t her intent, she never should have slept with him. Rheny is by far the most disgusting and dispiciable character I’ve seen on tv in a while.
Everything is about her, she destroys the lives of those around her for her own selfish gain and begs for forgiveness like a viper when cornered.
Tell me how Rhaenyra lying about the true father of her children to keep them safe is more evil than Aemond trying to make Lucerys cut out his own eye (and then trying to do it himself)
Yeah, it's kinda ridiculous. Aemond should be in the top5. He threatened and chased the little boy and his tiny dragon in the storm, riding the biggest dragon alive. What the hell he thought would happen.
Also i think Viserys and Corlys should not be on the list at all.

I'd say Aegon is the most evil. Everyone else does evil deeds because of benefits or emotional reasons, but Aegon does evil out of pleasure.

How can Rhaenys get mad at Corlys for being gone for so long? She has a dragon. Her children have dragons. She could have visited him any time she wanted. Having a dragon is like having a private jet at your disposal. Corlys has ships. It takes him a long time to get anywhere.
The point is he wanted to be away from them.

For me, evil is about intent. For that reason alone Aemond should be much higher on the list. I don't think Rhaenyra did anything evil per se. You could say that she did questionable things in her life, there's no doubt but I wouldn't equate her with having evil intent. Selfish maybe, but not evil. There's a distinct difference between being selfish and evil.
She’s trying to put bastards on the throne and still other people’s birthrights, and that is not an evil thing to do? There is a reason why she doesn’t admit her children are bastards and there is also a reason why Viserys doesn’t legitimise his daughter’s bastards although he knew it but keeps on saying they are not, because that is high treason and all four of them (Rhaenyra and her three boys) would be killed for treason immediately. That’s the best way to destabilise the throne and the succession line by putting illegitimate children on the throne. And she did it knwlingly, not once, thrice.

The whole reason of the need of the monarch to have legitimate children is to SEXURE AN INDISPUTABLE INHERITANCE which will NOT BEING A CIVIL WAR. @@leykimayri The High Towers were more concerned about Rhaenyra being the queen, not her son. They're just mad that the King chose her instead of Aegon. The war starts because the High Towers pronounced Aegon as the King and blackmailed a number of houses to swear feality to Aegon and not telling Rhaenyra. That is treason. That is evil.
@@MarkG998 I didn’t say that the Hightowers are angels. However, what Rhaenyra tried to do was also very evil and would eventually lead to
Civil war after her own death. The sons were not only illegitimate but they have been questioned as such but many people. In the book it says that the minute that Viserys ordered that anyone who would say her children are bastards will be killed, that was the moment that everyone started gossiping about that all over the realm. There is no smoke without fire and since her children are bastards there will be a succession crisis once she’s dead, especially with so many dragons around who would be even larger at that point. The minute the illegitimacy of her children started being the gossip of the decade, she should have turned away from the succession since her being the queen meant her bastard son as the first born would inherit the throne and for sure people wouldn’t want that. Remember it’s a society that believes that bastard children are bad people as well, people who can’t be trusted. What she does, is the definition of evil, since it will lead to a civil war one way or another.
I think Larys Strong should have been number 1. Otto is evil because he wants power. Larys is evil because he wants feet. Larys killed his own father and brother…… for feet. 🥴
I think aegon is at the top for me
Larys is much more complicated than that, actually. He started a civil war and did quite a few other things that will be shown in the upcoming seasons for his own reasons (most reasonable explanation is that he's a Greenseer [which is kinda heavily implied in the show] and those people really wanna see Targs and their dragons go the way of the Dodo).

Why do so many people not understand that Aemma was going to die one way or another? Viserys chose between save the baby or save no one.
Also, this list is madness. I love Aemond, but that fight was his doing, whether or not he meant for it to end in Luke’s death. 🤦🏻♀️

Personally, I don’t really agree with this list. I feel like the term evil and being an a** are being mixed up. You have a great example of Otto I agree he is evil. I also I agree with the number 2 pick. But In my opinion, evil is like Little Finger, Cersei, or Ramsay Bolton. I feel like the characters in season one are still being built upon.
Criston Cole would be my number one.
While there are arguably worse players, at least they are more or less honest about or aware of who they are but he hides behind a facade of being honourable and righteous, which he probably believes in himself.

He actually was honorable and righteous, until he was not only hurt but had his life destroyed by Rheny. After her little “fling”, he could never again be a true member of the kings guard, a position he was grateful to have as a commoner and was a new high for his family. He was willing to leave it behind to be with her, but realized how evil she was.
As usual Rheny goes about life ruining everyone else’s while being blissfully unaware of the consequences of her actions. She’s a disgusting person and I can’t wait for her to get killed in this.

Vhagar ate Luke/Arrax without Aemond's permission. The dragons were having a spat and neither prince could control them.
Aemond threatened to kill Luke then changed his mind at the last minute, but the dragon followed through with the kill emotion of Aemond.
@@dc7117 I don’t recall that happening. He just wanted Luke’s eye as he knew killing Luke would start the war. Granted idk how he’s supposed to do that on dragonback but when Arrax blew fire (out of Luke’s self defense) at Vhagar, she was stopping at nothing to get her revenge for that.
But dragons have a strong connection to their riders, pretty much vhagar could feel the hate aemond had for Luke bc of his eye and why arrax attacked vhagar. He wnated to protect his rider

That was her decision once Arrax attacked (and like Lucerys said “The idea man can control the dragons is a myth”) And I did already mention Arrax protecting Luke in my parentheses in the first reply. how is Rhaenys Targaryen not number one on the list? she killed hundreds of innocent civilians with her dragon, just to make a scene and be dramatic.

Larys is No1 for me, for killing his own family in one of the most horrible ways. Otto the second for sure. The third must be Aegon. Forth is arguable, maybe Ser One Knight Stand. Aemond next. Sixth is Daemon. Then comes Alicent and the last one is Rhaenyra. Viserys and Corlys would not be on my list at all.
You seriously think Aemond who's old war dragon decided to eat another dragon attacking her despite him commanding Vhagar not to, Aemond who accidentally killed one person should be higher than Daemon? Guy who killed and mutilated dozens of people in the very first episode, made a toast celebrating death of his newborn nephew, killed his ABSOLUTELY innocent helpless wife, ruthlessly killed Vaemod Velarion for saying what everyone already knew and all that is only what I could remember, there's more probably
I was ready for Deamon to slice off Otto's head in the season finale like he did to Vemound in episode 8. Alicent went from being a sweet girl in the early episodes to being a Karen in episodes 6 & 7, but somewhat redeemed herself in episodes 8 & 9. Christon Cole is one of the worst for me, all of his hatred for Rhenerya because he had a one night stand with her. My favorite "love to hate" character is Aemond as I think his character is well done.
I think it's more than once, what both Alicent and Ser Cole had was their honor, principles and trust which got broken by the same person.
Ser Cole thought she actually loved him... That was his mistake, he is not the worst to me, yeah he has anger issues but people should try and look at things from his perspective

And it was against the rules, he hates how she breaks the rules and still flaunts the children, cause no one can her out for it. I think it's just down to his principles, he was ready to kill him after the banquet brawl, that's how deep he believes it his principles. I get that... Not the best and has a lot of anger issues but still, there I still understand him and I don't hate him that much.

You abandon his wife and children for six years to win the battle in this touchdowns that was ignored by the king. He went to war with the triarchy one, and secure to step stones. Giving the queen appoint to launch from, also enabling them to create a blockade of kings landing. It was duty as well as grief. She had two options she could sit there in shame and sorrow and following through with his family, we could sail off to come by to take out his anger on the very people that caused him so much headache and heartache throughout years

Even if she was going to die either way he gave her an incredibly more painful inhumane death. I couldn’t do that to an animal and he did it to his own wife. Sure he wanted his child to live but only because he desperately wanted a son for selfish reasons
*BLAME* *OTTO* *HIGHTOWER* *FOR* *EVERYTHING*
You can like Alicent or Aemond or Aegon or Rhaenyra or Daemon. And they all have their flaws. They all can be bad people or just people who are pushed to do bad things because they're in war. But the guy we all need to point our fingers at who creates this entire mess is Otto Hightower.
As psychotic and creepy Larys is for killing his father and brother, he's really not to blame for the actual war. And now that we've seen Aemond not really intending to kill Lucerys, what really triggered the war was Otto pushing for Aegon's coronation immediately after Viserys died and then plotting behind Alicent's back to have Rhaenyra , Daemon, and their family killed.
I personally like Otto because I enjoy Rhys Ifans performance. He is more like Tywin than Littlefinger but I did find Tywin more charismatic since he was a war general of his own House. But Otto is the biggest POS in HOT D. We can hate some of the crimes the other characters will commit. But none of it happens without Otto pulling all the strings behind the curtain.
Otto pimped his own daughter to Viserys which led to Alicent having a miserable life. Got Viserys and Daemon separated for 16 years so Daemon can no longer be around KL and protect his brother although some of that blame is really on Daemon for being so reckless and violent. Pushed for Aegon to be coronated immediately after Viserys died to steal the crown under Rhaenyra's nose. Then plotted to kill her and Daemon before Aegon's coronation.
Blame Otto.

I wish Rhaenyra would tell Corlys and Rhaenys about Laenor instead of unnecessarily drawing their ire.
They would probably not believe her and think it's just a trick to gain their allegiance.
Even then, I think it is like the idea of Ned Stark's secret about Jon Snow. It would have not been believable if they knew their son was alive. To include can be risky if the secret is let out or they were against that plan. I wish they could have too, though it is just another secret that will be going with Rhaenyra in her grave.

while it was a joy for TV audience to watch, I don't think the writers wanted to change more surrounding Laenor including the motive for the Velaryon's siding with the Blacks..
and Rhaenyra and Daemon married off so quickly after Laenor's supposedly demise already raising eyebrows and causing speculation
also Laenor surviving and sailing away in the end of episode 7 doesn't change the fact that he is written off the series
She could not tell. If she had told them, her marriage with Daemon would have been invalid and her other two sons also would have been considered bastards. Because of which her first three sons suffered all their lives. Second, Rhaenys probably would have hated her because her getting rid of Laenor in order to being able to marry Daemon. This way on the other hand she could tell Rhaenys that she did not ordered Laenor's death which is true.

Rhaenyra should be number one on this list considering her lies cost many their lives or livelihoods, and she doesn't bat an eye althewhile. Nothing she does is for the benefit of the realm at large, only her immediate family. She is perhaps the most selfish and egotistical character on this show and she is surrounded by self interested enablers just as depraved as she is. Allicent is perhaps the most dutiful and kindhearted character on the show and has no place on this list.

Rhaenyra wasn't underaged when Daemon took her to the brothel, not even for our current patterns; she was 19 in ep 4.
It is unthinkable for me to say that Daemon is worse than Aegon, since Aegon literally raped a girl and we have no recollection, at least in the show, that Daemon raped someone. He's far from an angel, but most definetely better than not only Aegon, but also Criston Cole; the guy literally killed 2 innocent people for absolutely no reason.

I enjoy your channel but I don't agree with this list. EVIL is an extremely strong word & should be used accordingly. To me Alicent is the most evil her actions have had the most impactful consequences.
I’d argue Otto is not very evil, he’s unlikeable cause he’s ambitious and selfish for his family, but doesn’t actually do as many large scale evil deeds

I mean, as far as Season 1 goes, sure, I'd sorta kinda agree (except swapping Larys and Otto).
If we're talking overall during the events of the Dance, Rhaenyra, Aegon (Alicent's Aegon), Aemond, Mysaria and Larys would defo make the top 5 (not quite sure who's most worthy of the top spot, Mysaria or Larys, probably Larys, since he organized the whole thing, it would have never happened without him).
But also, he was told if they did not operate on her, both the baby and her will die. So he tried to save what he can. So I wouldn't say King Viserys is evil #7

I think that you misunderstood the reason why Daemon was in the war room meanwhile Rhaenyra was having a miscarriage, he didn't want to suffer the same pain that he suffer with Laena Valyrion, also he is not the kind of man to show any kind of weakness not matter how much he loves his family, and he is capable of everything, absolutely everything to protect his family, but that is more clear in the second season.

@@leedongwok86 I wouldn't say misunderstood, he knows when to be brutal, when be ruthless, but everything that he does is for the family, even that his brother and grandfather didn't have much trust in him, his grandfather is understandable, he was the second son, but there is no excuse for Viserys no tell him about the "prophecy", Daemon thirst for power is understandable, because Viserys not matter how kind he was, it was easy to manipulate, it was so concerned by the legacy of his grandfather that he didn't see the conflict boiling under his nose, Daemon was giving the nickname "The Rogue Prince", because Otto Hightower did everything in his power for not giving an position of actual power, and Viserys just go along with it because the bad blood between them, for example Daemon was a very good military commander, but Otto was afraid of giving him an army, and by the end, when everything was lost, Daemon known how to quit, even that he didn't known the whole story and his destiny ended being unknown.

Why does Rhaenys "The Queen that never was" always get a pass on lists like this? 🤪How many innocent non-combatant civilians did she kill bursting out of the floor like that just "for show?" 50? (since she didn't intend to kill any actual combatants, if it wasn't for her ego, she could have just flown out the Dragonpit's regular exits). While some on the list are guilty of some murders, some for manslaughter and a few for being compulsive liars, Rhaenys is the only one that can be convicted in a modern court for an actual war crime.

Season 4 may not have any of the major characters from S1 except Aegon II. I know for sure Rhaenyra, Daemon, and Alicent will not be involved in the series finale. So much happens after Rhaenyra's death. It's going to be interesting how viewers will feel about this once the major players are gone.
Pretty much everyone dies except Daemon's own children and Nettles. Jace and Mysaria will die. Criston will die. Otto will die. Alicent will be imprisoned and die there. Aemond and Daeron will get killed. Helaena will commit suicide because she'll go mad after Blood and Cheese. Corlys will switch sides next to "The Two Betrayers" after Rhaenys dies at Rook's Rest.
Roddy the Ruin will die but he goes out like a BADASS the way Daemon does. Roddy will be a huge fan favorite next to Daemon among viewers who are on Team Black. Killing a couple of Hightowers before he exits the world is BADASS to me. That's a true warrior's exit. I think if a great character is going to die, let them die epically. Don't give them a stupid death like what happened to Jaime and Cersei.
House of the Dragon is going get really heartbreaking when Daemon and Rhaenyra exit the series. They're two of the most popular characters in the Dance. Can throw in Aemond in the top 3. All three are gone by the end of Season 3. They can delay it to happen by the first half of Season 4 but none of them will appear in the series finale. So much still happens after Rhaenyra gets eaten by Sunfyre.

It genuinely blows my mind just how many ppl completely missed Cole refusing the order to take Lukes eye. Not only did he hesitate before Viserys bailed him out telling him to stay his hand....but he LITERALLY steps backwards as he tells Alicent that he's sworn to her JUST as her protector. Or in other words...not as her hitman. She has Larys for that anyway. His moral code isn't remotely all over the place if you pay attention to details. He makes it clear from the onset that he cares about his honor. & for the 1st half of the season he was eternally grateful to Rhaenyra for giving him purpose as a kings guard. Which is why he hates her so much in the 2nd half. Bc he essentially abandons his honor...his white cloak ("the only thing I have to my name")...thinking that he could have a different life with Rhaenyra. Something he MAINLY thinks bc he accurately pointed out that he was always hearing her talk shit about how she didn't want any part of her responsibilities as heir.
And it's not until the last minute that she changes her stance. And again that also ties into why he hated the idea of being the side guy. There's nothing honorable in being "her whore". He even goes full samurai & tries to kill himself after killing Joffrey bc of his shame at that point. & spends the rest of the season loyal to Alicent bc she was the one person that DID appeal to his morals/code. None of this should change or sway how likeable the character is in any way...but it genuinely blows my mind just how many ppl completely missed all of this in favor of labeling the guy as an incel that's mad bc he got rejected. Just massive self reports that thousands did not understand what they were watching at all, lol.
Also worth noting....Daemon didn't "terrorize the citizens of kings landing" in the 1st episode...before that happens they mention that crime was rampant in KL. And it was largely bc there was no fear of punishment. Which in turn is why Daemon took the gold cloaks and went as hard as he did. And to be fair....you never hear about crime in KL again after they do what they did. We don't actually know for sure that everyone they chopped up was a criminal....but assuming they all were....I don't think we can chalk any of that up as evil. All the other stuff tho....no question.

See this is the real issue and my bigger point. Everything that I say comes from a place with no emotional attachment to any character or side. Where others are too emotionally attached to their characters of choice to ever be objective about the reality of what they're watching. Bc you choose not to see a thing, doesn't mean it isn't there. The facts are the facts. And it is what it is. With respect.
