    What P did with No Limit will never be duplicated. He's the reason artists only get royalties from 12 songs on an album now.

      As a segment or weekly episode. Jody has strong opinions that take the conversation to different places. Or... maybe they can change the format and put B high in the middle and still bring on guest and have Jody challenge the bullshit on whats "real" and whats "marketing". Wicked said black people be negative in this comment section but naw. I fuck with this show and I look forward to when Breeze is on. I dont even look at the topic, i just click. Shit be having me rolling and learning at the same time.

      A lot of artist was independent and black owned only by percentage. No black owned label distribute their owned records/CDs in volume/bulk. That was done by the Big Record Labels owned by the Jews/White man. Who wrote and signed the checks along with the contracts to the Black owned record labels. Then the CEO like Master P of No Limit and CEO Baby and Slim of Cash Money gave deals to their artist.

Your money you have in your pocket is of a people that don't look like you. Therefore they control the world right now and have the power until a nation overthrow their kingdom and become the next world super power. This has been the blueprint since the day of time. So if you want your face on currency to call the shots and control the narrative. Power only comes to the conquer not the one who was conquered. Ruthless had the most formidable movement because of the impact and 2nd lives of most of the members. Their presence is unprecedented. The Ruthless family tree is utterly ridiculous from Dre with DOC, Snoop, PAC, Dogg Pound, Em, 50, and Kendrick to Eazy with Above The Law, Bone Thugs and Will I Am, to Cube with Yo-Yo, Lench Mob, Del (and by extension, Hiero), Kam, Mack 10, WC, and all the folks he put on thru his movie career. Nobody messing with that.

      @Stonecoldalston Рік тому +1

      Those artists are part of the family tree but that don't count as the movement because alot of them came years later I believe B High is talking about at one moment in time

    bruh i woulnt have silk rap no other way. the nigga had lyrics and could rap. it was the times he would try to rap fast like mystikal is when he would sound off. no limit brought new orleans to the world but cash money brought the world to new orleans. when i bump that old cash money in the city i feel like im in new orleans. no limit can vibe anywhere. Thats the difference

    I remember in 1996/97 No Limit had the hood on lock. Cats was looking at the inside CD sleeves talking about the 20 albums advertised on every CD. And this when I was living in Cleveland, Ohio.

    B high right, NO LIMIT was the Hardest Movement, nobody did it like P, cash money was close, deathrow was the shxt too as well as Ruthless, nobody put out like 12 13 albums a year, 300 million records sold, did movies on that level.

  • @realspill6271

  • @BakedBeanieSigel
    @BakedBeanieSigel Рік тому +3

    No Limit was independent, had multiple successful artist and even had movies in the streets. Cash Money was under a major label, and even still the NoLimit movement was bigger back in the day.

    I love this show. I like how Jody Breezy and Wicked bring the expertise of entertainers who made street rap but have a real world swauvenes about when and where to make a move. Then I love how they just seem to all be friends having a real unsponsored conversation on tough topics without disrespecting the subjects. BUT bhigh tripping... He might as well put on that Tank Chain. Nobody beating 1) Ruthless or 2) Bad Boy. Ruthless would have been even bigger had Easy not died. In the south though its Cash Money, Nolimit, and Rap Alot.
