The issue I'm having is that I don't even have enough time to go to the settings to change things or to delete apps. It keeps cycling........is there any way I can reset the TV with my remote (like pressing 2 or more buttons at the same time when powering on)?
Hey @jademonkey1000 Bro, that sounds like a real pain. 😕 If you're stuck in a loop where the TV keeps restarting before you can even get to the settings menu, you might want to try a "soft reset" on your TV. To do this, you'll need to unplug the TV from the wall for about a minute, and then plug it back in. This should reset the TV and hopefully get you out of the loop. If that doesn't work, you might want to consider contacting LG support for further assistance.☺️
@@buzby303 I fixed it by turning off the computer on the TV (not the remote) after 30 sec I turned it back on on the TV and it didn't cycle anymore. Now I was able to delete apps I don't really need.
This is great, but unfortunately for me it won’t let me get to any of those options before error appears every time before get to any steps to clear anything 😢
For me, the problem was solved after I changed the country from the settings. Some services are not working, but it doesn't matter to me. I think all the headaches come from the LG tv channels app
Thank you. Your recommendation worked. The quick start was turned on and this along with your other recommendations fixed our issue.
NONE of the tips here worked. Still says “restart to free up memory”. And just by formatting a USB stick, it doesn’t mean it will be used as “storage”
VeryTaktikol Bro, If nothing is working then as a last resort try to Reset your LG TV back to factory default. It can help you to fix the issue.☺️
Same
Tried these on my father-in-law's t this morning, eventually did a factory reset, that didn't solve it either.
That was one of the best instructional UA-cam videos I've ever watched. Thanks for the effort!
Same here
Live saver!! Now my dad thinks I’m a genius 🤣
🤣🤣of course you are
Adding an external storage device allows for extending storage memory, not RAM (live memory). My TV still keeps crashing
What did you do in the end
This is a silly question but how do you get the app list up to delete apps
Mine doesn’t even give me enough time to go into my settings 🤕
Same here. It is very frustrating

AztlanDreams72 Bro, If nothing is working then you probably need to give it a Hard Reset, if possible. it might fix the issue.☺️
