Many thanks to the person who recorded this, I know your enjoyment of the gig was slightly lessened by having to concentrate on keeping the camera steady :).
It's also nice to see a UA-cam comment section were people are debating time signatures in a dignified way rather than the usual hate that seems to be on UA-cam :)
Yeah, it's so good. It would be really random, but man I wish Radiohead released a proper recording of this spacey True Love Waits intro combined into this more upbeat version of Everything in Its Right Place.
@@PitchSkullBlack I compared nothing but I saw Radiohead do true love waits live in Chicago in 2001. When was your first time live? You can find the live version of this song on UA-cam as well..
I was thereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, beautiful Prague, everything was... in its right place :) I think it's been one of their best gigs. Love it, I go crazy for this!
amazing as always.. I will see them for the first time in Feb 12'. Cannot wait. I have loved them from the very first time I heard them in 1996. I just wish that I would have seen them before now. It is long overdue.
best one of the show, pretty much sums up that summer in my life, thanks for recording and sharing and big up for radiohead -playing true love waits this way
true love waits is my favorite ep song, besides talk show host. it was great to see most of it being performed right before this mesmerizing performance.
@whitesnowyheart maybe the dark ambient tone of the song 'True Love Waits' (helped along of course by Johnny and Crew) is supposed to represent the 'Haunted Attic' in which Thom, the light/the love, must wait. And by sounding so delicate/gentle in an otherwise dark song, he is further showing the contrast between this dark place the protagonist of the song inhabits, and the thoughts that keep him going. I feel Thom is trying to embody the emotion of 'true love' vocally.
This is so amazing...love the transition. Can't wait to see them in 2012 for my first time! Sorry to say I'm a late BLOOMer, but I feel they've been in my soul all along.
@BlackIroni i think 'Yesterday I woke up sucking a lemon' is just another way of saying 'Woke up on the wrong side of the bed.' You know the expression 'left a bad taste in your mouth' it comes from the look of disgust that certain things put on peoples faces. I think he is trying to say that from the moment he woke up, its been a terrible day. Yesterday i woke up sucking a lemon.
I'm going to watch them play in Berlin next week. something tells me I will start trembling when they go on stage. and then.. I don't know. blank. and I think I need to stop watching such videos because I will collapse from excitement right here right now :p
@jimfordham i really hope you're being sarcastic about the 'prague is in tibet'-thing ^^ anyways, this whole project is awesome, thank your for doing this, now I want to see them live reeeeally bad :)
@TheTazMonkey They are merely clapping on the the eighth notes that the bass drum is hitting. Literally anybody could clap "in" this 10/8 signature if it was being laid out this coherently...
"yesterday I woke up sucking a lemon" had to be the most random lyrics I have stuck in my head so often it's almost not funny :( ...Can sound pretty bizarre to a person that isnt fan of Radiohead lol
complete fuck up version of true love waits. case for keeping it simple. such a great song when not reconstructed as here. annoying, next song is true to original and brilliant.
it's a completely different song and i think this take on it is extremely unique and fucking stunning. I love how the song has evolved with time, anyone can enjoy whatever version they want.
I love how quiet and still the audiance is during True Love Waits.
they were intrigued by an unheard song!
I still love that the band actually donated the full audio feed for this gig. I can't think of any other band that would help a fan project so much.
Gotta love Thom's thumb signal to the other band members at 2:36 !
פשוט גאון
Only Radiohead can get a crowd to clap in 5/4.
True Love Waits feels like a song of totally giving up in life. Yet strangely sounds as beautiful as it gets. Thats Radiohead yall.
Love the way True Love waits came out on LP9
Many thanks to the person who recorded this, I know your enjoyment of the gig was slightly lessened by having to concentrate on keeping the camera steady :).
i think thats the coolest stage ive ever seen
It is very nice to have a soundboard recording of the True Love Waits/Everything in It's Right Place combo. Thanks to all involved.
Two of the best songs ever - combined - makes - best performance ever.
I could just listen to a whole hour-long concert comprised of just the ending.
Wow, Radiohead representing Tibet with the Tibetan flag on full display, couldn't love this band more.
oh man ... Thom Yorke is so beautifully gifted! His singing... i can so much relate to. LONG LIVE RADIOHEAD & Thom Yorke, PLEASE!
It's also nice to see a UA-cam comment section were people are debating time signatures in a dignified way rather than the usual hate that seems to be on UA-cam :)
I could listen to the last bit repeat for hours
this is amazing. Jesus...
Jared nice King gizz profile picture. I wouldn't have thought that the crossover between the two bands would be that big
Between this, the 1995 version, the IMBW version and the AMSP version - THIS is my favorite version of True Love Waits
Eyal Levy got a link on that bro?
they butchered it
Yeah, it's so good.
It would be really random, but man I wish Radiohead released a proper recording of this spacey True Love Waits intro combined into this more upbeat version of Everything in Its Right Place.
Any links or guide to find them?

Radiohead .... just don't leave! Don't leave.
All my best to you all!
I was thereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, beautiful Prague, everything was... in its right place :) I think it's been one of their best gigs. Love it, I go crazy for this!
Siempre que juntan Everything In Its Right Place con otro tema antes dejan la caga!! Radiohead lo mas grande!!
Te doy
Dude who ever was the one who caught Thom giving phil the signal (thumbs up) to start playing(2:38) thats fuckin awesome!
Awesome!
fuuuck the live in praha show is fucking incredible
amazing as always.. I will see them for the first time in Feb 12'. Cannot wait. I have loved them from the very first time I heard them in 1996. I just wish that I would have seen them before now. It is long overdue.
Good stuff.
Stunning performance...
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing

Foot washing...a deeply tender loving act...have you ever washed someone's feet? Visualize yourself doing that. Feel yourself being the recipient...
Unreal, I must. See. Radiohead. Live....
true love waits is my favorite ep song, besides talk show host. it was great to see most of it being performed right before this mesmerizing performance.
ha ha ;D was thinkin the same thing about his subtle signal LOOOVE this track

@TheEccentricHippie My point was that the crowd is clapping in 5/4 without realising (probably) since 5/4 is an unusual time signature.
FANTASTIC
This is fucking beautiful.
fuckin amazing sound!
wow great!!
ridiculously good
The good thing about audio sampling is that the band can leave the venue and the concert can go on for two more hours.
This is so amazing...love the transition. Can't wait to see them in 2012 for my first time! Sorry to say I'm a late BLOOMer, but I feel they've been in my soul all along.
Did you see them yet?
YES!!!
I'm gonna third the 10/4 time signature.
goosebumps!
I don't mean to be a music snob, but it's 10/4. Whatever the time signature, Radiohead ftw.
Buenísima versión, siempre hay un sorpresa.
Pure trip
best version of tlw ever!
👏👍
Nice Feel !!
true love waits that way, makes me cry!! T-T
Thom may not be the best looking man that ever lived, but he is the most beautiful.
The live version of Everything in its Right Place was always superior to its studio version. A bit like Spinning Plates ...
true love !!! In Its Right Place :P

Ed O'Brien is so handsome and this is a great medley of sorts
Radiohead’s hottest member tbh, then Colin is the prettiest
@@darrenlockenheart I'd say Jonny is. Colin is adorable, though.
It's a bar of 4/4 then 6/4 its difficult to tell but when phils snare comes in that seems to fit.
I'm not living... I'm just killing time...
Redemption...
@jimfordham i really hope you're being sarcastic about the 'prague is in tibet'-thing ^^
anyways, this whole project is awesome, thank your for doing this, now I want to see them live reeeeally bad :)
it's not 6/4, it's def. a multiple of 5. I agree with the 10/4, it's definitely 10 quarter notes in 1 bar.
@stripeyninga do you honestly think that? couldn't disagree more. I like my TWL to have chord changes in
for the two people who dislike... put that button in the right place.....
The first time I heard 2:48 I squealed like a little girl.
@kankrum
Amen
hey he did the same joke here in Chile, crap i was expecting him to pick up his acoustic and play the damn song, that would have been epic.
God's gift to mankind!!!

My favourite comment of all time.
there are two colors in my head. (one is purple and the other is black.)
Thom god
@BlackIroni It sounds pretty bizarre for a person who is a Radiohead fan also
Thom Waits
I've always listened to it as 10/4 which is basically 5/4 over 2 bars so I don't know where you guys are getting 6/4 from
You really can't divide this as a 5/4 over two bars.. it's either a 10/4 or a 6/4 followed by a 4/4
@jessiewollyyy I not.
But I like him because of his music!
@mogumunarok 30 000 you and 30 000 me? We are musical brothers... don't forget...?
@LongviewRocks That comment is dripping with sarcasm! Looks like you're the failblog material mate.
:yaoming:
for the 2 people who disliked this, like button is the right place.
Thank god they didn't release this version
60 000 of 65 037 of these views are mine..

+Paul Jackino no it's not
Demi Krueger I was joking when I said that
Paul Jackino okay
What a lovely ending

"yesterday I woke up sucking a lemon" had to be the most random lyrics I have stuck in my head so often it's almost not funny :( ...Can sound pretty bizarre to a person that isnt fan of Radiohead lol
BlackIroni do you know why those are the lyrics?
Thom picked out different words from newspaper clippings and randomly pulled em out of a hat
No bullshit
its 6/4 bro
3/2
sus
It is not right to hang a war criminal flag so proudly
