That's pretty cool. If I had a house then I'd definitely consider installing this. I could definitely see it being useful, especially for elderly or disabled friends/guests.

I love the see thru view!!! So much better then the closed in elevators that have been used in hospitals and hotels etc! My custom made elevator will have battery backup power because one of my biggest concerns is if the power goes out you gotta call 911! Why do like everybody else and get stuck like everybody else! I think outside the box! Backup power for my elevator is a must!! :)

Would love to have something like this. Put in my home, what would it cost going from a basement to a first floor and I would want it big enough for a wheelchair for godforbid I'm ever in a wheelchair. Please comment back and I live in Connecticut.Thank you

air powered is going to suck unless you have a large commercial building where you can store a giant compressor. You also have maintenance of that compressor.
It uses air turbines, not a compressor.
