Ok so no one is gonna praise the intro that coincides with the anime opening intro? It’s almost identical just with Pokémon let’s go clips. This is amazing work. I salute you good sir.
I'm 5 years late but within the first 10 seconds of this video I FLEW down to write a very similar comment. What an immaculate intro. If only everyone put that much effort into game review videos.
While in a battle, I was sure my Ivysaur would faint from a strong attack, but a somehow it had a tiny sliver of health left when a message appeared that basically said Ivysaur toughed through it so I wouldn't be sad. I was actually shocked. Now I love my Ivysaur above the rest
Same! I was battling Misty for the 2nd time and was one hit from losing when my Bellsprout toughed it out for me, winning the fight. I have loved that Bellsprout ever since.
I’ve been playing Pokémon since gameboy color jeez how it’s grown. I bought the ninetendo switch with both eevee and Pikachu because I love Pokémon too much, it’s my absolute childhood
I love when my pokemons stay «alive» so that I don’t “get sad”. The cutest thing ever and they sometime dodge attacks kehsiakdbskdks isjsnsksksj i love my kids
@Steve they did. "...saving every 5 [...] so you don't have much to catch up" That basically means "screw the chain and just reload a save" And that doesn't work
In all my years of pokemon since pokemon ruby, and every pokemon game ever since, I encountered my first shiny in Let's go Eevee. And it popped up out of nothing (no combo). I was like "why does this metapod look so weird? Is that a new feature like the huge/tiny thing?" before it dawned on me its a shiny.
I swear I remember finding a shiny Pokémon in Gold or Silver but I can't remember what is was (it wasn't the red Gyrados), but I don't think I was able to successfully catch it, and at the time, I didn't know what a shiny Pokémon was (this was when I was a lot younger and before I looked it up online). I have yet to even seen a shiny Pokémon since.
I really would like to acknowledge and praise the quality of this video. You diddnt waste my time with a four minute intro talking about your patreon, or your new microphone. Straight to the point with actually useful information. I really appreciate that. I would love to see a video dedicated to capturing stronger pokemon. Since (and i hope im wrong) there is no breeding in this game, which means i cant vreed endlessly for a 6 IV pokemon.
Also it's worth noting that once you hit your 31 combo catch your odds for catching a shiny will not get any higher... so unless you want the exp or candy's you're good to just run around until a shiny spawns.
new evidence shows that there are old pokemon and new so when you leave and come back the same pokemon can be saved in that decreasing the pokemon in chances
@@tvo8977 i know it doesn't it was a statement from the developers tho i really don't understand what they mean but it it was from the developers. it just means that it will take longer to shiny hunt until a new method is found
Lucky? Please. I’d like to tell you the Graveler story. I was in a side cave in Rock Tunnel. It was a (vertically) long room, with a ladder at the top. I went to the bottom to see if there was any sort of item. There were Onix, Geodude, and Graveler running around. I see sparkles peeking through the top of the screen. My Ultra Moon brain runs up, as I think it’s an item. I get to it, and I see a golden Graveler. I was *STOKED.* I knew that, because of predetermined encounters, I was quite likely to see a shiny. Still, I ran into it before it could disappear. For some stupid reason, I thought a berry would waste a turn the same way a failed Pokéball would. I used an Ultra Ball to get a nice throw. No dice. I took a picture of it as it got out, so it turned out peeking from the top of the screen. Exactly how I first encountered it. A second Ultra ball, a second nice throw, a second failure. *The wild Graveler ran away* That’s what I get for calling the shiny ugly four years ago?
Combo catching isn't the only way to lower your chances. You can get the Shiny Charm from the Game Director in Celadon when you complete your Pokedex. It increases your chances from 1 in 4,096 to 1 in 1,365
During combo grinding just use ultra balls or great balls and if they break out. Run away immediately before they potentially do it to you cause you running away doesn't break the combo chain . And if you struggle throwing pokeballs with the switch motion play on game pad which makes throwing pokeballs easy .
2 extra pro tips: once a day you can collect 2 heartscales at the arctos island. once a day you can collect a gold bottle cap at casino and a silver bottle cap at the ship haven in 3.rd arena town. the bottle caps are used to max out pokemon ivs of your lvl 100 pokemon.
I bonded with my gengar somehow, he got killed by an earthquake or so I thought because he lived it with 1 hp. Then in the next turn, my snorlax used surf which also hit my gengar but he survived that with 1 hp too
Hey I know this video is super old but that intro... Fuggen flawless. Pristine. Breathtaking. A one to one remake of the show's intro. Astounding. Just immaculate.
In short, do not underestimate just how powerful bonding with your partner can be in Pokemon, especially with the Let's go series. It's been really rewarding for me in pokemon sun single player. By the way, the only way that I can be a really happy camper is when GF makes their new trading system compatible with the Let's go series (Pokemon Go by extension) as well as the main series.
Correction to 1 of your statements.. saving doesnt save your catch combo... I had a combo of 12 on rhydon and closed out my game, started it back up and had no combo
1. Bonding with your buddy lands you sure-hit moves. 2. Everything contributes to your total xp during your catch. 3. Always catch huge or tiny Pokemon over normal ones. 4. Shiny Pokemon exist. 5. You can get Alolan pokemon through in-game trades.
31 catch chain only increases shiny odds of the chained pokemon. Huge and tiny size variants only increase the exp modifier not the stats of the pokemon. Running from a pokemon, even the pokemon you are chaining, will not break your chain, only catching another pokemon, closing the application, or having the chained pokemon run from you will break it.
I honestly didn’t think I would like let’s go Pikachu and eevee. I just finished Pokémon shield and loved it and just started let’s go. It has actually grown on me. Around 03:20 you talk about combo chaining and say you recommend saving every 5 or so. Why?? Loading your save forces you to close the software, breaking the combo. Also, why try for a combo that exceeds 31 by that much? After you hit 31, just wait for a shiny to appear.
I’ve already caught two shiny Pokemon in about an hour and I didn’t have a catch multiplyer the first was a bell sprout and the second was a Nidoran Female
