Take a journey with my partner Brody and I as we head out to the North Jetty out past Samoa and west of the City of Eureka, CA. Humboldt Bay is in the heart of the economic center of Humboldt County, CA.
Not far off of Highway 101, the North Jetty is another great example of the historical communities on the North Coast of Humboldt, California.

Thanks Doc. Great vid. Many years ago I used to drive out there w/ my dog just like you. On the bay side of the jetty you'd see some folks fishing for rockfish (red snapper) and if you were lucky you might see a school of harbor porpoises cruising by.
When the sun's out it is indeed glorious out there :o)

the jetty is where a surfer was nearly bitten n half by a juvenile GW...few yrs ago two surfers pulled him into the rocks n rushed him to the hospital n the bed of a P U truck....he survived. Thx for posting
