UPDATE: You DO NOT need to use the USB dongle for the Nintendo Switch, it connects via the "wireless" button on the front, the USB dongle is for PC/Android/iOS etc! Don't forget to subscribe to see our review when it goes live :)
Hi, have you seen the M9-HD with NFC, back paddles and even HD rumble (which no other 3rd party controller seems to have)? Would really like to have your opinion on this one.
Full review has been up for month ;) ua-cam.com/video/psPCLv151Y8/v-deo.html I've not tried the KingKong 2 Pro, I've emailed them but they haven't responded :(
I have a question. Have you seen the other, cheaper version of these that Mobapad sells? They are called Mobapad Pro Consoles (weird name) and they look like the shape of a regular pro controller. They same to have all the features of the m073, but are half the cost. Including Amiibo support, wireless, gyro, rumble, turbo, macro, and even some RGB rings around the thumbsticks. Plus there are color options, including transparent frosted black, which is just legit. The real reason it would seemingly top the m073, for me, is that it has 4 back paddle buttons. 4 extra inputs is just wicked for a pro controller knockoff. I was looking into getting the Mobapad m073 because I adore my Mobapad M6 Gemini set immensely. I know I would get the same sticks, but the m073 doesn't have the mechanical switches, does it? The Mobapad M6 Gemini run $50, the M073 run $50, and it's around $57 for the Mobapad Pro, except on sale which is around $33. Sorry for the long comment, I just wondered if I could save some time in case you had tried these and they were awful. Or maybe you didn't know about them and they may be a new contender?
Wow, I haven't seen them at all! I may have to take a look into that and see if they want to send us some to check out! Yeah the M073 doesn't have mechanical switches. It could be that they're new controllers, I'll certainly see what we can do :)
Quick look online, I think it's an older model and just looking at it does make me feel like it's more of a budget controller but I'll still enquire about a sample :)
@@128KB Cool, thank you. I realized it is just about the same price, maybe even more when not on sale, than the M6 Gemini. Around $57 without the sale. I can definitely see it being of less quality than the m073, but if the quality is similar, those 4 back paddles would be sooo noice! Thanks for getting back to me so fast! I love your reviews: honest and down-to-earth. You sold me on the Mobapads, and I just love those sweet, clicky switches.
@@LordZannen Yeah definitely! I'd love to check them out too, hopefully we can source some for a video :) You're welcome! Thank you for your kind words and so glad you love the Mobapads! I love those clicky switches too! :D
@@128KB Of course! It's alot of effort to make a good review. The company seems to like sending you stuff, so fingers crossed lol. Something about mechanical switches. They make the Switch feel premium. Same thing for awesome inventions like the Azeron keypad. So satisfying to click!
I was saving this for the full review buuuut as you asked so nicely... Yes, it does wake the Switch and when the Switch goes into sleep then the controller turns off too :')
@@NetvoTV I believe these devices are on a total different level. Only thing in common I'd say is that they are "handheld dockable devices". But honestly, Steam Deck is a thing of its own. If you enjoy PC games and have a nice Steam library already, or if you're really into emulation and tweaking I'd say save for the Deck. If you just want a nice handheld/docked experience, you're interested in Nintendo's exclusives or you just like the system in general, just get a Switch. Want handheld only? Can't go wrong with the Lite.

I'm waiting my mobapad m073 but I look exlene pro controller is very similar and bought too. Congratulations.
Oh awesome! How is the Exlene Pro? I've not heard of that before, I've contacted them for a sample to show on the channel

Something about mechanical switches. They make the Switch feel premium. Same thing for awesome inventions like the Azeron keypad. So satisfying to click!
Now for the BIG question. The one that'll determine if this is a buy for me. *clears throat* Ahem. Can it wake a Switch up?

@@128KB That is just beautiful. Thank you.
@@MoltenMan85 It really is! No problem at all.
Is this the time to get a Switch now because that drift problem is kinda make me worried as i dont have that much money to deal with that
Or save more ans get a Steam Deck?

Gabriel took the words right out of my mouth there! I'd have said the exact same thing. It's good advice :)
sooo since its wireless and has battery,, does it have a charger or something?
Yeah, I show the usb cable, just plug that into the dock or a pc and charge it
Is it better than a nintendo switch pro controller?
It's half the price and very good but Switch Pro is always king
Where can we buy?
Here in the UK the only place I can see is aliexpress, importing it from China
HD Rumble?
It has rumble but not official HD rumble, it's pretty good so far though
Left joystick loosen and become haywired after 1 year. Never drop the controller before..
Ah that's a shame :(
have mechanical buttons like the m6?
I mention in the video it has membrane buttons
