👉 BOOK Your Airport Transfer or Transportation in Paris
bit.ly/TransportationAirportTransfer
Just landed at CDG for the first time today and we opted for a taxi due to our luggage situation. Your video made it super easy and non-threatening, even with all the “fake” Taxi drivers inside the terminal, just as you stated. Went outside to the actual Taxi stand, confirmed the set price and that the driver would take a credit card, and 45 minutes later, we were at our hotel. Many of your videos have made us look forward to seeing your amazing city with much more confidence than we would have otherwise. Many thanks!
Uber was about €10 less than a taxi as of last week, both are great in non-peak hours as Paris traffic is horrible during rush hours.
But Les Frenchies, this is probably the best video I've seen on describing the process of getting from CDG to Paris.
👍
Not sure if it was mentioned, but the price of an RER ticket to central Paris includes a transfer to the Metro (use the same ticket at the Metro fare gate).
And don't leave the station because then the ticket will be invalid; usually have to go up one level to Metro.
What is RER
@@alexbaker7871 It’s the acronym for the high-speed commuter rail system operating in and around Paris (Réseau Express Régional).
There are 5 lines, one of which has its northern terminus at Charles de Gaulle airport (Terminal 2).
Thanks, I was about to ask this!
Do you know if I go from the airport to Saint-Mitchel Notre-Dame stop with RER B and I need to change to RER C, can I use the same ticket for both rides? Thank you!
Good advice from you saved me some euros. First, just heading towards exit door 10 to get a taxi. Some men tried to get me to go to another door since there were 5 in my family. He said larger cars were in exit door 16.
Second, when I went outside, I told the dispatcher I needed a larger vehicle with 5 people. We waited a minute or so and he sent me to a small mini van. We were going to an Airbnb right next to Notre Dame. The driver told me I had to pay 83 euros since there were 5 people and I had to pay extra. I saw your video and that amount seemed high. I went back to the dispatcher and he said that was too high. I didn't take his ride and he had me go to another driver about 2 minutes later. He charged me 55 euros and an extra 4.5 for the fifth person. He was surprised another taxi driver was trying to squeeze 83 euros out of me. Thanks again.
We arrived at CDG in October 2023. Train station was in terminal three. There were workers wearing vests with the words”Can I help you?” printed on them. They were so helpful. Signs were easy to follow as you pointed out. Thank you for the videos which really prepared us in so many ways, and took away some anxiety of traveling.
You two are just the BEST! I stumbled on your channel a few months ago (thank goodness!) and have enjoyed and learned something new from each video you made. You really know your audience and provide the exact info needed to ensure a wonderful visit to Paris. Love the updated look of CDG! Covid kept us away and it looks like the airport received a nice new snazzy look.
I agree!
Congratulations on your first year anniversary! The Les Frenchies guide is everything😊😊
Hi Colleen and Antoine, We loved this video! When we visited France, we studied and studied the different ways thru the CDG in order to familiarize ourselves with the things to look for. We were very aware we were going somewhere large and unfamiliar and dealing with another language. My husbands skills were nonexistent and mine were from college days and only updated by watching French channels during the previous months.Luckily my reading skills were better than my spoken ones. We found our way very easily but there was quite a bit of anxious energy leading up to our arrival. This video is so reassuring even now planning our return for next year and dealing with all the regular travels challenges and perhaps more of the same still by next year. Thank You so very much for all you do!
You both are so great at giving clear cut information about Paris.
Thank you so much for this information! Congratulations on your first year, guys! I wish I could be there to say hello and celebrate with you. Keep up the great work! So enjoyable. 🤗 💕
Thank-you for such an informative video. After a long flight and if you've never been to that particular airport it can be a bit overwhelming, this is such a big help! It would be great if you could do these videos all over the world!😀
Thanks you as always, Colleen! God bless you and your husband!🙏💖🙏
You Les Frenchis folks are brillliant covering almost every angle to make one's stay in Paris even more memoriable
Fantastic, it can be so intimidating the first time at CDG. Knowing what to look for is so helpful.💜🇦🇺
Very useful short video. Thanks! 🇫🇷
We booked our first time trip to Paris today, going on Christmas time. And your youtube channel has been such a help on planning everything. Thank you 🙂
So clear and easy to follow, thank you 🙏😊

Thank you both so much for the awesome useful video. My husband and I are heading to France next month for our first visit. We are visiting for 2 weeks with 6 nights in Paris. We have binged everyone of your videos (some twice). So happy to have found you!!
Omg! You both are supplying excellent information! Thank you!
Congratulations on your one year anniversary of UA-cam! Thanks for this and all your helpful videos. We are going to Paris in October (finally!) and cannot wait.
We are too! 😁
Bonjour! I just came across your channel last night and I haven’t stopped watching since! I just wanna say that i LOVE your videos. I have watched A LOT of other travel vloggers in preparation for my trip to France and Belgium, and i can say, BY FAR, your channel is my FAVORITE! ❤ it’s my favorite because it’s informative and straight-to-the-point. Some other vloggers have too much unnecessary fluff, and for someone super busy like me, it’s a pain having to go through the unnecessary fluff. So THANK YOU for such helpful videos! Super appreciate it! ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for your informative videos. I learned a lot watching them. My wife and I are visiting Paris for the first time and we’re so stoked!
Your vlogs are by far the best and most informative. Very much appreciate your hard work. Thank you!🗼
Very useful and thank you!!!
I fell for the fake taxis I think, as did one more traveler I met, super easy especially when you're all alone. This video unfortunately came to me too late, although I'm definitely saving it for future study abroad students, best video describing the process I have seen so far!!!
I'm going to Paris in a couple of days and was researching on my options to go from CDG to my airbnb and your videos are a lifesaver!! Thank you so much
Bonjour! Love love love you two! You have been such a blessing in my research for my upcoming Paris trip…from catching the metro to finding the best macarons

Explained fully in details. Thanks!
You guys do a great job of explaining everything.
This is the video I was waiting for 😭😭😭!!! I want to take a taxi or Uber and all the videos I've seen only talk about trains and buses!!! (Tears of happiness 'cause my parents, husband, and I are going to Paris in September) and I also searched for videos in Spanish and French since 2021! Thank you so much!!!! 😘😘😘
Very helpful, all your videos, thanks!
I just returned from 2 weeks in Paris. Your channel was very helpful. Cheers from 🇨🇦

Thank you as always, Colleen! Your tips are awesome 👌
Thank you so much for this video 👍👏
Thank you for the detailed info! You guys rock!
This is really helpful. I like to have a "roadmap" before I go (rather than wander in circles on arrival). Many thanks!
Thank you- good info.

Thank you so much🙏 !!! This is really helpful👌

We always take the RER in but it is def a bit of a walk. Gets your legs moving after flying. 😁 thanks for all your great videos.
You both have done an amazing job with Paris!
Great video, nice to see a glimpse of what we have to look forward too.
Your videos are so clear and helpful.
THANK YOU VERY HELPFUL
THANK YOU 🙏
Thank you sooooooo much.
You are great, thanks
Great video as always! Thanks for showing the way to go to the train station, not that complicated. Our routing is already planned. Get off at 2E, do the usual bag pick and going through customs. Then head for the train station, go to Paul for lunch, then to the IDF Mobilités kiosk for our Paris Visite cards, then RER B to Saint-Michel - Notre-Dame, then the underground corridor to Cluny La Sorbonne station on ligne 10 then the metro direction Boulogne - Pont de Saint-Cloud to Charles Michels and a 7-8 minute walk to our Airbnb. Salut!
Thanks for sharing this video.

This video was very helpful. I’m from Chicago and I’m going to Paris on 8/16/22. I can’t wait. I always wanted to go to Paris.

This is great information. Thank you for pointing out the signage. That’s very helpful.
Hi Les Frenchies. I’m thrilled for you to reach your one year anniversary. I actually thought you were on longer. Your content is so professionally done and always informative and friendly. Please keep up your good work. Josef.
Great video, very clear and specific information. Thank you.
Awesome video, Clear and no doubts
Oh my! This is the best video. Thank you for the indepth video.
good job! i like how you focus on one particular topic and then proceed to answer and explain the options.
thanks for sharing
Excelent video! Congrats for the content!
A couple other tips- If you arrive at Terminal 1 (United\Star Alliance) you'll need to take the free train to the RER station. Also, when taking the RER, check to make sure you get a train that goes straight to Gare du Nord. Otherwise, the trip will be much longer with all the local stops.
I’ve seen a few videos with both “fast” and local trains between CDG and central Paris-the time difference was only about 5-7 minutes. Besides, the time you spend WAITING for the fast train is time you could be on a local train. :-)
@@davidthaler7018 Agreed. I took the all stops train and found it OK.
RER B has only 1 track in each direction. Trains won't overtake. So just take the first train. The only benefit of the direct train is that it has only one stop at Aulnay-sous-Bois before Gare-du-Nord. So you can take a good nap without fearing that someone hops in and out grabbing your luggage while you're asleep. That's unless extra stops are added on the fly for whatever random reason. RER B is an adventure on its own.
@@christianbarnay2499 I’ve seen direct trains stop at CDG1 and Parc des Expositions before continuing to Gare du Nord. That appeared to be during spring and admittedly the video was several years old so perhaps schedules change seasonally or have changed altogether.
Thank you very informative
Somewhere my fiancé discovered that you've been at this for ONE YEAR. Congrats! Keep up the amazing work and thank you as always!
Outstanding. It is as if I were with you. Thank you icons.
Immensely informative thanks
Love your Channel. My wife and I took a 5 day trip getaway while we were visiting family in England. Stayed at The Hotel Monge (our daughter picked it) and later found it's one of the boutique hotels you recommend. We loved it and will stay there again as we love the 5th arr., as it's not touristed out and many times being in restaurants, markets, bars, etc in the area, we felt like the only tourists there. Everyone else was French. Our next plan is to find an Airbnb or similar in the 5th and stay for 3/4 weeks. I went to high school over 50 years ago just outside Paris in Garches and we lived in St. Germain en Laye and Le Port Marly while my USAF Dad was stationed there. We took the RER out to St. Germain one day and it was great to hang out in my old neighborhood and walk the Chateau grounds on a beautiful summer day. Walking towards the East on the grounds you're on a bluff above the Seine and can see the buildings of Paris 10 miles away. Thanks for your great channel! Merci!
thank you very educational video
I love all your videos they are so informative and you answer my questions before I can ask. Merci beaucoup
great video, very helpful!
Great info!
Wish I had this guide on my first time to Paris. Very helpful!

Always excellent, useful advice. Thank you!
Thank you
Awesome video ✅👏👏👏
Beautiful 🧡 Thanks for this Great Tour .. moving Camera very Creatively 🧡💛
This is a must watch video.
This video is very helpful, thanks for posting this content. Will visit Paris in 2 weeks time.
I just found you today, I’ve been watching quite a few of your videos. They are so informative. Thank you so much. I wish I had booked my flight before a few days ago. I’m only there for 48 hours and the Eiffel Tower to the top is sold out. That’s what I get for waiting so hopefully I get another trip to Paris. ❤
Practical info! Love it. I have done the RER B every time. First time I went to the ticket vending office and after that to the machines. It is easy. As I usually stay in the Latin Quarter, I disembark at St. Michel.
Hi Hallie, upon arrival and exiting at St. Michel Station, did you notice if there is a working elevator. Otherwise, how would you bring out your luggage?
Hi! Did you find it easy to take the train with luggage? Thank you in advance 💕
We're going the last week in March. My wife is very excited.
Thanks to you and your husband for the great tips and info. 👍👍🤩🤩 I know how intimidating traveling to a foreign country can be. That's why I love to travel with my young adult son. 😊😊
