@@HappyBeezerStudios ironically, over a decade a go, a friend suggested blind guardian as a guide as i was suggesting that while elvish music was generally portrayed as enya-ish, i was thinking of how dwarvish bards would sound for a d&d campaign scene. and he suggested them. he was not wrong, it fit the campaign perfectly.
I remember I discovered these guys because of an ad of their song "To Erebor". I was about to close it but it sounded cool and I watched the whole video. Immediately after I forgot the original video I wanted to watch and searched for more WR songs. Really great band!

I can't believe how good these guys are! Those harmonies, those melodies, this energy! If you are experienced in songwriting, there is no chance to not adore this music!
I enjoy metal in a general sense. There are some subgenres that I don't care for, but I can get by the heavy music and intense vocals. I never imagined one of my favorite subgenres would become Dwarven Metal. Windrose is absolutely magical and great work those long nights in the factory.

This is one of my favorite songs ever , I love how they styled it to sound like the dwarfs are marching with the chorus amazing music to work out too aswell
since the beginning of their career windrose has demonstrated they are the TOP of the folk metal world. it keeps going, and gets even better. wish the song wasn't shortened though because it is EPIC AF.
It's so refreshing to hear a baritone at the forefront. Don't get me wrong, good tenors are great, but in this genre of music they're painfully overrated. Finally hearing the lower register get the love it deserves.
These chorals, gradually accompanied by the long-drawn violins. These e-guitar stabbing like a sharp chainsaw into soft wood. These mountain blasting drums. These powerful shouts of the singer, as if the Braveheart guy himself would gallop along the front lines to call the masses to the final battle. This song tells a story. Absolutely epic, I love it.

Absolutely, thank God for my dad being a metalhead all his life and raised me on this type of music. I remember one of the first bands that I remember listening to was Elueveitie and I especially fell in love with Ensiferum and Amon Amarth when I was a kid and I still jam them to this day. Maybe one day if I have kids I will jam out to this stuff as often as possible
Been listeneing to these guys forever now, and they continue to get increasingly better. They are in A league of their own when it comes to Power Metal with a dwarven twist. I would love to see a show with these guys and Ensiferum(or however you spell it). That would absolutely be amazing!

Absolutely, thank God for my dad being a metalhead all his life and raised me on this type of music. I remember one of the first bands that I remember listening to was Elueveitie and I especially fell in love with Ensiferum and Amon Amarth when I was a kid and I still jam them to this day. Maybe one day if I have kids I will jam out to this stuff as often as possible

Been listeneing to these guys forever now, and they continue to get increasingly better. They are in A league of their own when it comes to Power Metal with a dwarven twist. I would love to see a show with these guys and Ensiferum(or however you spell it). That would absolutely be amazing!
