Thank you for the amazing reaction bro! You guessed both the guitar and bass right on first attempt :D The guitar is a MMM1 indeed. I changed the bridge pick-up to a EMG81 and removed all the useless parts like the neck pick-up, the pick-up selector, knobs (replaced by an on/off switch). I also changed the mechanics to Schaller locking, and hid the Ibanez logo with black tape because by the time I got that guitar I was artist priced by another brand :)

Also, what did I tell you??? Nuclear Blast and Napalm have gobbled up 99.9% of all the good bands from Europe! Sabaton, Nightwish, Eluveite, Xandria, Alestorm, Gloryhammer, Powerwolf, Korpiklaani... The list goes on and on.
Saw these guys with Gloryhammer and Beast in Black last year. What a night!

Technically Pro Wrestling is LARP. They role play characters and simulate combat.
They are not only good on record they are great live. Saw them a while back as support to Ensiferum's tour and they kicked ass. Never heard of them before but I instantly had to headbang.
Funny side story, I was there with my sister and while we were headbanging to Windrose, we were standing right next to the merch. Suddenly a guy came with a cord and cut us off from the rest of the crowd and we were like o_O wtf is happening. Then the whole group from Ensiferum showed up for a meet and greet (during Windrose's gig) and I suddenly was first in line shaking hands with the guys while still processing what is happening (with beer in hand and nothing to sign on ^^) So I bought a shirt from them and directly let it sign ^^ While that was happening only two or three other people realized that there was a mee and greet going on...the rest was still moshing to Windrose hehe
Man, I hope to see them live in April next year, when they support for Orden Ogan, a German Power Metal band I cannot recommend enough (check out the songs "We are Pirates", "F.E.V.E.R.", and "Gunman"), in Stuttgart.
The last show I was able to go was back in March... I can recommend you the band performing that night as well: Myrath with the songs "Believer" or "Dance", both of which are available as their live version when Myrath performed in Carthage.
For Orden Ogan, I'd say "Fields of Sorrow" or "Come with me to the other Side". About Myrath, I'll take "Believer" as well!
@Nathan Conleysaw them live once, in Milan..really IMPRESSIVE, despite Seeb being ill that night and they had to cut the setlist a little bit. I reviewed a couple of their album on metal.it, love both of them..but I love all of their discography :D
I'd also suggest "Born to survive" by Myrath.
Orden Ogan are amazing. You should check the Danish band Wuthering Heights. SO UNDERRATED. Kind of like a progressive folk/power metal band

Wind rose are awesome live (saw them supporting gloryhammer) that call and response they do really gets people going. I've actually got a shot of me with Francesco doing a silly beard with my long hair. He and the rest of the band are sweethearts. Francesco admitted the pauldrons sometimes make lifting his arms difficult. 😄

Yeah, this track dropped years ago but the music video is from this month I think. I was surprised that the bare track on youtube had bugger all views. Hell, this reaction might get more! Definitely a track overdue for its moment in the spotlight.

I had an Ibanez SZ for years, nice instrument. Pretty heavy though. The early models, like mine, where a little easier to identiy because they had a rather big flame inlay at the 12th fret and no others.
Never heard this but it was good. Respect for mentoing BOH!

From Wind Rose, you should check To Erebor. Other songs by other bands, I suggest Shaarghot - Break your Body or Uman iz jaws, Bullrun - Fire and Hate, Kissin dynamite (feat the baseballs) - Cadillac Maniac.
As I said in the live chat, the mixing and mastering was made by Simone Mularoni (at least for the past albums), on of the best producers in the business today. And also guitarist from DGM, that I suggest you go check some day in the future :D
If you do more Wind Rose, be prepared to redefine the concept of "Epic" these guys are incredible!! \m/
if you are a fan of "lord of the Rings" universe, you should check out their song "To Erebor" its amazing!

I think you would get a kick out of "THE DREAD CREW OF ODDWOOD - Dead Man's Medley". They played with Alestorm on the piratefest tour and their unique instruments include toy piano, irish bouzouki, accordion, concertina, mandolin, and other acoustic instruments to form their "heavy mahogany" band.

Woohoo, more of my favourites! Metal + Lord of the rings, I mean what's not to like right 😉 Saw them together with Nekrogoblikon and Gloryhammer, they were truly amazing live. The costumes are even more impressive up close and performing in the can't be easy. They sounded great live! They didn't expect the crowd that showed up I think, they were so thankful to see a sold out concert hall. They talked to their fans after the concert, very sweet guys.

Definitely recommend Wintersaga from this album. Also would highly recommend Brothers of Metal Prophecy of Ragnarok or Njord. They are touring with Wind Rose and Orden Ogan next year and I would love to be there for that lineup. Speaking of Orden Ogan, you should check them out as well. Highly recommend F.E.V.E.R. or Gunman. 🤘
Also have to recommend Brothers of metal Njord is a great song though I also like One. Though I have to also recommend Yggdrasil considering its their most popular song.

I second Wintersaga by Wind Rose. I don't know much of their music yet but it is by far my favorite from what I've heard. I also second Gunman by Orden Ogan. And I 100% fourth Njord by Brothers of Metal. Love what I've heard from them so much so far.

in slightly cheesier fashion have you looked at Grailknights? think 90's saturday morning cartoons meets metal. I would highly recommend "Pumping Iron Power f Joakim Broden". it's solid. gets you pumped up and it's fun!
Almost got to see them at Progpower 2019. But with new government regulations, it is becoming very hard for bands to get Visas to perform here. They were unable to get a Visa so could not come. Hopefully will be able to see them sometime.

Hi Tank, if you wanna test some good black metal, you have to try The Great Old Ones (lost carcosa) or Regarde les hommes tomber (a new order) or Penitence Onirique (la cité des larmes) All of them are kicking ass and all are from France.
Huh now, only after the second time listening to this song, I realize what they sound like... Their music and the vocals in certain parts sound very much like some songs of the band Turisas.
Not a bad thing, I simply noticed that.
I think it'd be interesting if you'd check out some songs from Turisas, tbw.
For more bands like this look up the music genre called Norse Metal
If you like this stuff you should checkout Rhapsody, the band who started the Italian power metal scene, setting all the tropes and clichés of this genere. "Holy thunderforce" live version from the 2005 DVD is a good starting point.
