I love the edit! I feel like tons of people make Mapleshade the victim even though she clearly isn’t. Her reasoning and morals were terrible, she was extremely jealous and possessive. The book about her story even shows how terrible she is and then treats her as the victim. It’s kind of insane. Most people I’ve talked to think of her as such too, do I don’t think they’ve read the books. TLDR: Mapleshade is terrible and isn’t the victim. NOT saying that you can’t make sad things about her, it’s just a bit weird to make her a victim.

Well it did say in the book that maple shade was was Hallucinating her kits mewing for help and every time she killed a cat the cries for help would go away ., I think maple shade was very unstable but I guess her kits death just exploded the slowly ticking time bomb in her head , I do feel like Apple dusk was a horrible father mainly because he never told reed shine or maple shade about each other and instead just cheating on them both :( I feel like he deserves to go to the dark forest .

U know maple shade make people have complicate feelings towards her I mean when we see her parts where she is so upset and mourning the lost of her kits we feel bad for her and get mad for the ones of made her like this but when we see the other characters we get mad at mapleshade for what she done like freckle wish she was so depressed and lonely when she lost her brother and she was so happy cuz she thought maple shade had kits from her brother I mean if mapleshade said no it would have been different story

@@Salad_Dude2 no- she was still mean before she lost her kits. She betrayed Frecklewishs brothers name. For saying that he was the kits father. And she didn’t have the kits then! And. The reason why her kits are dead is because she told them to cross the river when there to small to swim! (And yes I know Oakstar did ban the kits to from the clan which was WRONG of him to do) and not only that. But she also was mean to Appledusks I guess “new” m8 (I forgot her name ;-;) she said- “say away from him! He’s mine!” Or something like that… but I just don’t like her.
