There have been many bands around the world called "Deja Vu". This one was not the first and certainly not the last.
Deja Vu (UK) was formed in London, England in 1987 by guitarist Charlson Ximenes, singer Paul J. Armfield and bass/keyboard-player Paul Hine.
Chris Rice took over bass duties shortly after the band had recorded "Black Angel" (Ride Records) and keyboardist Ian Hopton replaced Hine on the keys following the recording of the "Love Me Tonite" single in 1988.
Drummer Dave Etheridge joined the band in1989 and in 2000 collaborated with Ximenes on his debut album, "Collision Course" (Aqua records/Vinardy).

Deja Vu also released the song "Love Me Tonight" on a compilation album by Ebony Records in 1998.
The songs "Fire and Ice" and "The Time Is Right" were never commercially released but the demos managed to get regular radio-play in the UK and USA.
The band split up in 1992 but some of its members are still very much active today in the music business.
