  • In which Laura condenses pretty much every Shakespeare comedy into one eleven-word phrase.
For the first time in our much-celebrated "Laura Benanti Explains Shakespeare" series, the Tony winner is breaking down a comedy. As is her wont, Benanti really gets to the heart of the matter in 60 seconds flat (by the end of the video, you'll even have a clearer understanding of how twins work!). Plus, she manages to condense the play (not to mention basically every Shakespeare comedy ever) into the sentence "Someone gets tricked and is mad, but then everyone is happy."
