Dang! This house rocks, and it’s super thought out. House building is my favorite part of the Sims. Sometimes I build up a whole story and never really play it, just build the houses and get bored and start a new one. All the tiny miscellaneous details are the best bits, it’s fun to add in small details. The beds in the Twin boys room look super cool, I’m going to try and see if that works in Sims 3.

I used to write short stories on my descriptions about the families living in my builds. If you go back to some of my earlier videos you could see some. I really want to start doing that again haha.
@@ThePixelSpaceCreate I like to use real house blueprints to make houses, and then make a family for the house to personalize the bedrooms. It can be both fun and challenging to work within the limitations of the Sims. I’ve learned so many different techniques and ways of doing things over the years that it makes for some pretty cool builds. Things like an attached garage to a house with foundation to custom skyscrapers. I’ve even made a castle with a secret door in the dungeons that’s triggered by pulling a torch on the wall. That was crazy, because I had to make it open and reveal itself with the torch, the close behind the sim and hide itself again when entering or leaving. I did that with some cool floor panels.
@@Onlyonejada the cheat I use most often for building is ConstrainFloorElevation. That’s how I do the attached garages and skyscrapers. It’s the most useful tool I know once you get a hang of it. Just remember to turn it off after your done using it so it doesn’t mess with your foundation. The secret door was stuff from World Adventures used in making traps in tombs. The secret wall door, which blends in with the wall when inactive, is connected the torch lever. Pulling the lever tells the door to reveal itself and open. The problem after is it doesn’t close itself and blend back into the wall after you use it. So I grabbed a floor trigger which activates when a sim walks over it, and put it on either side of the door. Then I connected it to the door and made it so when it was activated, it would tell the door to close and hide itself. Honestly there’s probably an easier way to do it, but I’ve only just started diving into custom tomb adventure stuff.

I'm not kidding when I say that I watched this whole video with my mouth open lol. This video/build broke my brain! Just WOW the talent and creativity, the realism with the clutter, just everything about this is amazing! I just subscribed.
This house is amazing! My sims just won the freakin lottery so I’m looking for a nice house for them!! I’m missing a few packs but I think I can make it work 😊
The big family would be feel more home if that grandma house would be replaced as an Adult Daughter Bedroom with own bathroom, and add another bedroom for Child bedroom (introvert boy or girl) The total of 8 bedroom and 7 baths. Add another level which is the 3rd floor for Mini Library, Den, Mini Kitchen with Breakfast Nook, Child's Bedroom with Introvert personality, and Piano at the Center of the 3rd floor.
I really love this house as I always play with big family but I only have seasons and snowy escape rn so can I know some of the packs you used so I can buy them? it's okay if you can't answer this.

Hello, go to your Sims 4 folder. This folder is usually in this path: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Tray. Copy the tray files and paste them in your tray folder. Then open your game and the house should be in your library. Let me know if you were able to see it!
Have you tried deleting it and then adding it back again? I played tested it and it worked for me but it can be a glitch. Let me know if you’re able to fix it :)

I'd like to see the floor plan 🥺 I wish The Sims would let us play with more than 8 sims in the future!
If you're able to download mods, you can increase your household max size with MCCC!
@@madelineholder5991 my current computer cannot handle mods aha. but that's an alternative for sure.
Maybe it's a good thing though I don't know why cats and dogs are part of the household number when their not playable

Yeah I was in a rush for a new house my sim was pregnant and I realized half of the kids were sharing rooms and there was no space 😊
