Ah, I lived in Boulder for years and can say with confidence that yes it is a beautiful place with friendly locals (this is not including the knuckleheads from the CU campus), but $67k annual salary might afford you a decent apartment, but forget about buying a home here. This town is pricy, from groceries, dining , utilities, home prices, sales tax. Everything costs way more on average. The median home price for 2022 is $1.1m, YIKES!. so $67k won't cut it for home ownership, unless you are fortunate to qualify for one of their affordable home programs. But it's in very short supply.
