Hey, as a guitarist of 30 years I remember how difficult mastering the f chords is. My advice is to hold the e major chord with your 2md, 3rd and 4th fingers then slide everything up 1 fret and barre the F, also try changing from C to F, the change is simpler than you think, you just need to build up the muscle memory, keep it up and good luck 👍

I have been playing for like 5 to 6 days now, ive learned riptide, house of the rising sun and everybody dies in their nightmares by XXXTentacion and it seems like barre chords are basically impossible haha

hahahah at the beginning, forget about it! I barely was able to do 2 finger chord when i started. if you check my first video, I literally spend so much time doing the D chord shape 🤣
Just to say that for now, focus more on the easy chords like E minor, d6/9 etc to get comfortable, then the 3 finger chords for a whileeee
Barre chords are definitely not at the beginning xD
So take your time and more importantly HAVE A LOT OF FUN!

Yea its hard that early , get yourself used to the chords G, C ,E minor and D , those are the basis of more songs than you realize, and you can just pick any string while holding a chord and pretty much make your own stuff. that'll kindve set you off in my opinion, but im noexpert but a pretty good beginner for the past ten years lol also get used power chord which is as easy as it gets then work your middle finger into it to complete the barre over time . Once you get there practice transitioning from whatever chord (G for example) to a barre chord like not even playing a song just back and forth with fret hand and you'll get the muscle memory over time then speed as well. One day if you keep playing you won't even think about them anymore and remember how they used to be a problem lol
