My two cent's worth- 02:53 don't ever write over an existing backup on an external unit (e.g. your computer). Ever. Memory's cheap these days, so do a new backup every time.

Around how long would it take to back up a (fairly unmodified) Nord Piano 5?

I don't know but on the Electro 6D it told me nearly 50 minutes! That's insane. Almost useless...
