my 250sx that i had was always so sensitive to carb changes. I was playing with the mixture screw all the time lol. Tinker with the carb a bit and she'll be right as rain man. So good to hear the 2 stroke again!!
@@DerekHallman everyone says they like the KTM but me personally any 4 strokes. Maybe you could write up a plan for which stroke content for which weeks? I love the motocross content as well❤
I love your videos man, but for 2 stroke I would recomend taking the ouside lanes so you can build that momentum, it will help you get around the corner faster and help you get up to speed for a jump faster when out of the corner

Didnt you have the keihin with the stic mod? Do you think that had a hand in the reason why she melted down? The keihin is really nice on this bike. I don't have the stic mod but I bought mine from two stroke performance with there head. Runs pretty good. A ton better than the mikuni ever did. That being said I could tune the keihin a bit better than what it's currently at. Or hit up lectron and try out there newest carb haha
Yup I definitely think the STIC mod is why it melted the piston. When running good, it felt really good, but clearly was too lean and destroyed the top end really fast. I've got that new Pro Lectron on the way haha

I had the experience of driving a 4T, but the engine braking really pisses me off... I want an easy 150 2t for light rides in the style of a trail along paths and paths, maybe learn to jump. Do you advise me to take one?
riding 2 strokes is harder. if u wanna get better faster then i think a 2 stroke is right. the 250r is really powerful but i think the yz is more fun and better to learn riding on

They are basically the same but the 150 (the big bore version of the 125) feels more snappy and has more mid to top end power but you have to shift precisely to get most out of the engine
I've rode this bike with the stock Mikuni, Lectron 38H, Lectron Billetron, and Keihin w/ STIC mod. After rebuilding it I wanted to put the stock Mikuni back on with KTM's recommended jetting so there wasn't any guess work. I'll put the new Lectron Pro Series carb on it here soon.

I never had to mess with jetting when my bike was hesitant i jus leaned it out a bit on the air screw

It probably the carb causing the hesitation but there is a chance you flywheel stater is going out or your spark plug

The 150sx is an excellent all around bike I highly reccomend it. It feels great on trails and great on a moto track.

It's a 2019, not old at all. It blew up because I ran the carb too lean for too long.
