It was planned since one year. 3 month ago I felt in love with a great man (he too). He was really supportive and wanted to visit me and travel a while together....but an few days before I started my 1-year-journey he broke up because he don't wanna miss me and don't wanna be alone. So I started sad with a broke. Heart and can't enjoy my journey yet. Because the journey is the reason why I've lost the man. Thanks for saying: "everthing happens for a reason". I know this is supposed to be a sad video but you re-enacting your breakdowns, the emotional B-roll, and especially the start of your acting career in the coffee shop; had me dying laughing and smiling most of the video😂 Keep your spirits up, be proud of what you've accomplished, and keep laughing and smiling!! In time you'll find the good in all situations as you've already started to. Also, you and your videos inspired me to plan and book my first solo trip about two months ago, just after my own breakup of 6 years... Similar to yours, we had no hard feelings and neither of us did anything wrong but we weren't happy. I have just read your comment and just wanted to say thank you. My wife recently died aged 34 and we had planned on travelling the world together in the next couple of years. Now im going to do it alone for the both of us but im terrified. Your comment really made me realise it’s something i need to do to find myself again. We had been together since we were 15 years old.
@Shaun Boylan I am so very sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what that must be like. I hope you get to see and do all the things you dreamed of. You deserve it. As far as traveling alone, I've done it a couple times. Once I did a short tour of Europe (Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, and Iceland), and once I went to New Orleans around Halloween. There were times when I looked around at others and wished I was a part of their group, and other times when I was perfectly fine going on that tour I planned or walking a museum at my own pace learning about everything I hoped to learn. I'm sure you will likely feel a bit lonelier at times given your circumstance. If you travel to hostels or go on group tours, you can always join others on whatever they're doing and meet new people in communal areas. That's how I went out every night in Amsterdam. One night I went to a candy store and bought a bag of candy gummies and passed them around to people in the hostel smoke room. I found a solid crew of people from all over the world that way. Of course it all depends on your preference and comfort level. Just go at your own pace, take a deep breath, and go one step at a time. I trust you will have an amazing journey. Life has bumps in the road. Everything is a lesson in life, even if some of them are hard lessons. Remember the good times and don't ponder on the rough parts. Push forward and go further out of your comfort zone. That will make life even better.

So sad you are/were hurting. It's rough no matter how long or short a relationship is when you put your all into it. The good thing is, as you said, you're still friends and there isn't the negativity that can sometimes come from a break up. It's much better if you don't have it. I do wish you the best and know you'll do fine. You're a strong, intelligent woman and can look at it from all sides. When traveling, you can meet up with all kinds of people, make amazing connections and sometimes it hurts to part ways, but it does come with the territory of traveling a great deal. Sharing your pain can be very helpful, as many have already said, but it also lets others relate to you even better. Allowing us to see the vulnerable side of you makes a connection that other content may not give. We've all had heart break and ache, we've all experienced the lump in our stomachs, the pain that comes from discovering what we had wasn't exactly what we thought we had and though we can function fine alone, it is nice to share the road with someone we find things in common. Wishing you the very best. Your content has opened up things for me, that because of certain health issues, I'll never be able to experience. Thank you for opening that door and welcoming me along with so many others, on your journeys. Sharing so much of yourself. Also, when it's raining, the tears can't always be seen. But also, some time if possible, find a way to dance in the rain, alone or with others. It really does wonders, at least for me it has. I wanna give you a big hug. I've also been in Koh Tao a few days ago. You helped me a lot with sharing your Story. Something similar happend to me. I started traveling for one year 3 weeks ago. It was planned since one year. 3 month ago I felt in love with a great man (he too). He was really supportive and wanted to visit me and travel a while together....but an few days before I started my 1-year-journey he broke up because he don't wanna miss me and don't wanna be alone. So I started sad with a broke. Heart and can't enjoy my journey yet. Because the journey is the reason why I've lost the man. Thanks for saying: "everthing happens for a reason". Sounds like Jeremy knew what he did and didn’t want and he knew it was time to move on instead of staying in an unhappy situation. I’m glad for you both.

Sure, not everything will be bright and sunny days, but never is a day without some sort of rain to help grow the soil, which will then usher in new life! I know this is supposed to be a sad video but you re-enacting your breakdowns, the emotional B-roll, and especially the start of your acting career in the coffee shop; had me dying laughing and smiling most of the video😂 Keep your spirits up, be proud of what you've accomplished, and keep laughing and smiling!! In time you'll find the good in all situations as you've already started to. Also, you and your videos inspired me to plan and book my first solo trip about two months ago, just after my own breakup of 6 years... Similar to yours, we had no hard feelings and neither of us did anything wrong but we weren't happy. I have just read your comment and just wanted to say thank you. My wife recently died aged 34 and we had planned on travelling the world together in the next couple of years. Now im going to do it alone for the both of us but im terrified. Your comment really made me realise it’s something i need to do to find myself again. We had been together since we were 15 years old.
@Shaun Boylan I am so very sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what that must be like. I hope you get to see and do all the things you dreamed of. You deserve it. As far as traveling alone, I've done it a couple times. Once I did a short tour of Europe (Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, and Iceland), and once I went to New Orleans around Halloween. There were times when I looked around at others and wished I was a part of their group, and other times when I was perfectly fine going on that tour I planned or walking a museum at my own pace learning about everything I hoped to learn. I'm sure you will likely feel a bit lonelier at times given your circumstance. If you travel to hostels or go on group tours, you can always join others on whatever they're doing and meet new people in communal areas. That's how I went out every night in Amsterdam. One night I went to a candy store and bought a bag of candy gummies and passed them around to people in the hostel smoke room. I found a solid crew of people from all over the world that way. Of course it all depends on your preference and comfort level. Just go at your own pace, take a deep breath, and go one step at a time. I trust you will have an amazing journey. So sad you are/were hurting. It's rough no matter how long or short a relationship is when you put your all into it. The good thing is, as you said, you're still friends and there isn't the negativity that can sometimes come from a break up. It's much better if you don't have it. I do wish you the best and know you'll do fine. You're a strong, intelligent woman and can look at it from all sides. When traveling, you can meet up with all kinds of people, make amazing connections and sometimes it hurts to part ways, but it does come with the territory of traveling a great deal.
Sharing your pain can be very helpful, as many have already said, but it also lets others relate to you even better. Allowing us to see the vulnerable side of you makes a connection that other content may not give. We've all had heart break and ache, we've all experienced the lump in our stomachs, the pain that comes from discovering what we had wasn't exactly what we thought we had and though we can function fine alone, it is nice to share the road with someone we find things in common.
Wishing you the very best. Your content has opened up things for me, that because of certain health issues, I'll never be able to experience. Thank you for opening that door and welcoming me along with so many others, on your journeys. Sharing so much of yourself. Also, when it's raining, the tears can't always be seen. But also, some time if possible, find a way to dance in the rain, alone or with others. It really does wonders, at least for me it has. Take care and stay safe and I hope this wasn't just a long winded ramble.

I think sometimes we see the beautiful imagery from people's travels and think that their life must be great all round.
