If you wanna see true rivalry and a clash between those two great ones (Messi and Ronaldo) you have to go back several years when these two were playing against each other in the spanish league and challenge each other multiple times within the football season. These demonstration matches are good for the new sports fans that have just dipped their toes into football (soccer for America) but back then the rivalry was also pushed by the fans and it was almost personal for those two.
