Best Intro yet Kris! 😁🙌🏼. Beautiful photography of the wilds, and that Ariel shot of the queens well was stunning. Gutted you didn’t get the views after what is a very long walk in. Onwards and upwards buddy, Looking forward to the next one already. Douglas 😉👍🏼⛰🏴
Haha cheers Douglas. Yeah, seems like every weekend is a washout at the moment. Hopefully we'll all get some sunshine soon!! Cheers for watching Douglas, much appreciated. Kris.
Lol loved the start :D Thanks for talking us along on another walk up a munro we have never been up. That well looked inreresting but also midge infested !!!!! I always enjoy your filming/editing of these walks and the narrative . Thanks again for sharing :D Teddy PS Also thanks for showing the rubbish that the idiots had left behind , it always amazes and frustrates me that they cannot take it back away with them! It is becoming more of a problem than it used to be.
Thanks Teddy, your kind comments are much appreciated. I know, usually see the odd bit of rubbish lying around but there was so much up there. It's a shame. Cheers, Kris.
Did this climb this week with 3 friends, weather was pretty much the same as you had! My first time out since lockdown started 4 months ago, was soooo happy to get out again into the fresh air! Great vid:)
Nice one Jay, looks like we'll both have to head up again to get the views! 😀 I know the feeling. Good for the soul. Hope you have some more adventures planned! Cheers, Kris.
Scottish Mountain Goat well a group of us have booked up Norway and are meant to be climbing the Trolltounga in September, no idea if it’s still going to happen!!
Another enjoyable film mate. Great intro that I can totally relate to it, last few weeks have murder. 😬 Shame people leave rubbish behind though... Muppets!
Nice one enjoyed that! A two and a half hour drive is nothing!! Spare a thought for us crazy southern outdoor enthusiasts who leave North London at 9PM and drive overnight to Milngavie and then walk for a wild camp bellow Conic Hill on day one of WHW! I've done that madness 4 times and it won't be the last time either! lol ;-)
@@ScottishMountainGoat Hi Goat 🐐 , yeh a bit cloudy in parts but blue skies at the summit. Views were mixed. I prefer using a bike for the long walk ins. Will need to invest in a roof rack.
Mount Keen was my first Munro, did it when I was about 13 and I've up it a few times and the mist at the top is normal. Regarding the rubbish, l think it's all the school and youth group outings unfortunately. It's the nearest Munro for us East coast folk.
Out of curiosity what midge repellent do you use. I swear by Avon Skin So Soft. I've been out hikes with folk who caked themselves with Smidge but was useless.
Hey Martin, I usually use smidge but more often than not I forget to stick it on and try to power through. Usually a mistake. I've tried skin so soft before but it didn't work for me 😪
@@ScottishMountainGoat I've used Avon for years never let's me down. Maybe it's all to do with what blood type we are lol. Enjoy your videos mate, keep it up 👍
Great video. Very informative too!
My fav so far! It's got everything, comedy, views, great camera work, laughs, tension, information and panting. Great work!!
Haha i'll be sure to try and fit some more panting into the next one! 😅
Great video - thanks for sharing 😊🌲
Love the intro, sums up this summer brilliantly!
Awesome video, looked like a great walk
Thanks!! It definately was, a lovely place. Let's hope we get a nice sunny autumn! 😝
Cracking intro Kris. Getting suited & booted just like a movie 😁 weather has been proper gash lately. itching for a pitching. ⛺
Cheers Kevin! I know! Are you and robin heading out again soon? Hope theres another Kevin take over on the cards!! 😉
@@ScottishMountainGoat Hopefully next weekend bud, weather permitting. Aye i'll take over and make the magic happen. 😁😉

@@ScottishMountainGoat 😂
Did this yesterday. I too had low cloud and what a trek it is in terms of walk-in. But rewarding tho.
Yeh it is a bit of a trek. Did you get some nice views at least? I'll need to pay this one another visit sometime

@@Multijoe84 Yeah, I'll need to buy one too. If I can just stop myself buying camera gear for a while I might be able to save up 😄

That would explain the rubbish. There did seem to be a bit more than usual! I'll need to head back up one day once the clouds shift, lovely hill.
Added to my list.. 😁
I'm sure you'll end up with some cracking shots up there! Look forward to it! 😁

I walked up mount keen from the Glentanner side last month A long walk from Dinnet.
Looks like a few more ups and downs from that direction too, good effort! Hope you got the views from the top to reward you! 😀 Cheers, Kris.
Great but........"Just outside Aberdeen"! naa lol
Lol, may have exaggerated a wee bit there! 😝
