I was waiting on it to shit a piston. Dude cannot drive that fucking thing to save his life. By all rights he would have won. Had he not sat on the limiter for 5 ENTIRE seconds per gear. "I bet dialed in a can run 9's" ........... I seriously doubt you have quick enough reaction reflexes to run 9's if you cant hear that rev limiter banging for EVER.
@@crisnmaryfam7344 I didn’t hear any unnecessary rev limiter banging, the whole time he was spinning you could here as soon as he would shift to the next gear it went straight to the limiter, and if he pedaled it all the way down the track he wouldn’t be in vtec or boost so he’d be extremely down on power and if he shifted to a gear where it wouldn’t spin the tires it would most likely bog down to 3k rpm and he might as well give up at that point

@@killersleeve382 ummm stroked to 2.1 and fully built and I assumed bored out since he said oversized pistons, it is more than capable of 600hp, if it was in my case since im building a d15b/d16y8 then yes youd need it to be sleeved and whatnot to handle 600 (only aiming for 400 tbh speedfactory rods are only rated to 500), but its a b series so it can handle 600, that is pushing it a little so past that yes thered be more work needed but where hes at he should be good
@@jesusurbina7343 I’m very aware what it takes to get there, before the gtr I used to drive a b18 integra that I boosted and has slowly began building towards 600 and ended up melting a clutch.

It’s nothing super special. Standard fully built ls3 with LsR intake. The owner built it himself so it’s not gonna be as show-car as the sheepey built Honda. But it’s a lot faster and I prefer it because built, not bought.

And then they wonder why they only last like a couple of months small engines are meant for small power simple as that, want something with power have to have the meat to handle it. No reason to make 600hp at 10,000rpm when you can easily at 5,000 with a V8

If anyone was wondering why a bias ply is “better” for your axles than a radial it’s because the side wall on a radial is a lot stiffer so if you hook a lot of that shock goes to your axles but on a bias ply there’s a lot more give in the tires

Traction doesn't exist on that and brake boosting wouldn't make it any better when it doesn't hook without it

Wrong . You'll bog and go slower. Gotta wait for the speed of the vehicle to catch up to the wheelspeed. Its on the limiter from spinning.
Wrong, in a fwd you want wheelspin to catch up before you shift or your going to bog down and drop out of boost. Honda problem was it was turned up too much for street tires. It would have been faster with less power off the line and feeding it the boost in 3rd. Honda could have easily top ended faster then the LS.
The first race the brz jumped then had a slight roll advantage and you said it was a win, seriously!

That's how rhe FWD drag guys do it. They bang rev limiter while the car catches up to the wheel speed befor they shift because if they shift too early they not only fall out of boost but also fall below the engine's power band and bog.

Pretty often that FWD cars ride the limiter because lack of traction. Hitting the limiter is faster than letting off the gas to get traction.
I love how self proclaimed car guys go “durrrr they ain’t shifting”. It’s a FWD light weight civic running street tires with over 600HP. It needs to bounce the revs for the tires to grip, otherwise if you shift to early it can either bog the car down or you might even lose control. How is it this many people get it this wrong in the comment sections of a car enthusiast channel, FFS.
