Just got to know by seeing Vishal Jain's profile on LinkedIn, that he was Chief Investment Officer of erstwhile Benchmark MF. I still hold in then Benchmark Nifty 50 ETF from 2006. Then it got acquired by GS, then Reliance Capital, then Nippon MF. Though I don't invest in ETFs anymore (only index MFs) due to low liquidity issues of MF, I thank Vishal Jain for starting this. Zerodha should also focus on Index funds rather than ETFs.
A successful and happy panellist who achieved financial independence and retired early could have been best to talk here. The two panellists have don’t appear to be aspiring FIRE, so their views could be irrelevant. They are talking passion, not retiring at all.
I dont think the panelists were appropriate for discussing FIRE. They would have been good for a discussion on "how to work till 65"..
