@@MayankSehgal You have a really cute apartment. You seemed to have settled in and adjusted to your new home quickly. Four years ago I moved from Connecticut to Florida after retiring from my job. I never lived out of state before and it took me about 2 years to settle down and adjust. Like you, I now love living in Florida and my apartment. Good for you and best wishes.

Love your space. Nicely decorated and functional. Your large windows are beautiful. I like the way you made yourself a living room area and have your bed in a nook area. Very cosy and practical. My favourite room is your kitchen. It is nicely laid out and it has a great window. Your bathroom is nice also. Smart idea putting a washer in there. It is great to be able to do your laundry in your apartment.

Thank you so much man!! My inspirations are everywhere - I read a lot of interior design blogs, Instagram pages, UA-cam videos, and take a little bit from everywhere. I guess my biggest inspiration was perhaps my manager in Los Angeles who had an absolutely wonderful home. Maybe I'll upload a video about his home someday.

I've been looking for an inspiration for my new room but I haven't quite found one until I watched your video! it's perfect because my new room is also in an old building as well. I also agree with your words that the way you live is the factor how you should decorate your house. Many of my friends don't really like my choice of my new apartment, but they just don't see what I see :))

It is a very nice and comfortable apartment, I wonder about the location and the noise level in the building and from the street? Job well done!
I don't find it small at all. Looks like a perfect size for a single person. I rent a 50m2 apartment, and even though I can afford it I want to move out, because it's just too much space for me alone. I'm now looking for something half the size like 25 - 30m2. Unfortunately, smaller apartments are quite rare in my area.

Can you tell me approximately how much should be the income in order to pay €1000+ for rent and if one can get a job as masters student that support living expenses??
It's not the case with every agency but a lot of them expect you to earn 3-4 times the rental costs.

Why don't you share this space with Vikram? Vikram staying at a closet by paying 350 Euro is just bullshit. It would have been affordable to both of you, had you guys shared this space. Think about it,...both of you sharing 1050 Euro for this decent place, while at the same time saving on your expenses, and not allowing someone to rip you off, just because there's a view of "Eiffel Tower". I mean no disrespect,...but seriously!

You did a really great job in sectioning off this apartment and gave it a real cozy feel. The only thing I see lacking is a stove and I know many people don’t use them any longer. I love cooking and use the stove quite often but nothing that an air fryer couldn’t take care of.

I hope one day you can also visit Philippines. When i convert the 1050 euro to philippine peso its a big amount of money 😅. Here in PH my apartment is only 3500 pesos or 60.43 Euro only. And its 1 bedroom already. I know the cost of living in paris is higher and its mindblowing hahaha

Thank you so much! Yes I def got quite lucky. Compared to LA I think again it’s quite cheaper - a similar space in Santa Monica for eg would cost $2500/mo. But then again we also earn less money here so.. it kinda evens out.

We do! But a lot of people prefer to live alone too, since smaller, 1-person apartments exist here too.
