Full respect to Thierry. He deserves some good fortune.
Mad respect to the Belgian crew, especially after what happened on Friday afternoon
i can almost feel them combating the tiredness whilst still maintaining focus and calmness between those stages
Bravo po thierry,,, semangaatttt!!!!! Pasti bisaaaa!!! "
Bravo Thierry 👌👌✊✊✊team neuville en force ✊✊✊✊
collaboration is great💪💪
Respect to all Rally crews. WRC deserves a LOT more attention than it gets. It's a shame that lame F1 gets all the glory.
Good work
Can anyone please explain front and rear suspension angles?
Amazing 😳👍🏻
Very intristing
why is the inside of the wheels always cleaned? I want to know that goal
Thierry is torque-wrenching the nuts as one would expect, meanwhile Elfyn is jumping on the lever :-) ua-cam.com/video/CRyftCehG5s/v-deo.html
💜💜
Someone explain what is he doing with the suspension? All I see is him replacing some kind of ring. Does that affect the suspension's stiffness?
It affects the suspension. Probably just enough to give him more grip and trust to go faster. Could be 1 to 5 sec on a SS
I believe he is changing the spring preload which shortens or lengthens the travel depending on how big a washer you are using
@@pit19931 ooh I see, thanks for that
čuj ove naše lokalne mehaničare kaj cijeli život šerafaju po jednom Zetoru....hahahahaha
People can help them to make the adjustments? Or they are not alowed to accept any help?
They're not allowed
Что за кольца он менял?
So cool
Could not imagine anyone in F1 doing this.
I seriously doubt F1 drivers even know how to do this on their own cars.
Is there a time limit for these maintenance? They don't look like they're in a hurry.
yes they do have time limit, but seems they had enough time to make changes - they do small tweaks before each stage, depending on situation, and over time its become sort of natural for them :)
This is just a quick tire swap between stages. There's always some time given to them, especially when they're driving through traffic to go to the next stage. After a series of stages, they'll go to the parc ferme and the mechanics will do an overall inspection/maintenance and repairs.
Luckily there wasn't any cops near as for sure some douche would hussle them cause what they are doing....
Those tend to come out of a car and approach to you in a way sheriff in movie would... If you see this, you know you're screwed... :D
WRC good
Can someone explain to me what is going on? I am new, but I assume they're allowed to make repairs to their own car, but this isn't while the stage is running? I know the mechanics have a set time they can work on the car, so anything else has to be done by the drivers?
And why do the front wheels not move when he torques them? Do they have a special handbrake, or device to lock the brakes?
They’ve left the car in gear.
@@tutelarius Ah that makes sense thanks.
This is between stages. The timed stages are some distance apart, and they drive between the end of one stage and the start of another. Depending on when the next stage starts they have time to make repairs/adjustments, etc.
@@yonootz2wheels ah ok thank you.
Rallying is like a ~2000km roadtrip with timed sections (special stages, SS) that you have to complete as fast as possible. The sections between stages are called liaisons and you have limited time to drive them. You will get 10 seconds penalty for every minute you are late or early.
Example of a timecard:
Hours:Minutes:Seconds
Start of the rally: 10:01
time to drive: 00:10
SS1 Time control: 10:11
SS1 Start: 10:14
SS1 Finish: 10:30:18
time to drive: 00:18
SS2 Time control: 10:48
SS2 Start: 10:51
SS2 Finish: 11:15:58
time to drive: 01:11
Finish of the rally: 12:26
There are different type of timecards but i used the one we use in Finland. More simple imo.

Salut my friend super car super video subscribe subscribe .. ..
Hey man. You don't put the wheels rim side down! 0:24
lol i think pro rally drivers know what they're doing
@@chair6703 It’s a joke man
Best Driver of WRC... I bet we win the race if car was well made. 현대야 잘좀하자
can you imagine lewis hamilton doing this? hahaha he probably doesnt even understand how his car works
😂
One thing is being a driver and one thing is being a mechanic. F1 drivers are definitely better than WRC ones
@@robertmallah3867 That is a large and unfair generalization. They are two different sports, with different nuances.
It's like saying 100 meter sprint athletes are better than marathon athletes. Better in what way? Longevity? Speed? Looks?
mate you clearly don't know much about lewis... he actually spends a lot of his time in the garage working and learning about his car with the mechanics... and yeah I think lewis wouldn't mind doing this
@@robertmallah3867 WRC is all about speed to beat your rivals. All about on-the-edge driving, in much more difficult and technical scenarios, with much more vehicle dynamics and driving techniques and styles that need to be mastered for each surface. WRC drivers are definitely better than F1 ones.
