You at Flowstate rock! Your video series are excellent, and most of all absolutely free! Thank you so much! Still your channel is undervalued, but I am sure this will soon change.
Thank you for the information, I don't plan on doing side mount but it is good to know about. Once again great educational video lots of great information and straight to the point no b.s.
It's for one-time use. Although some companies (like razor) offer gadgets that can be reloaded, we prefer the version we use because it's sturdier and much easier to repair in the field. We'll provide a detailed guide on this in our upcoming video, where we'll discuss sidemount regulator configuration and cylinder rigging in greater detail.
Using gas integration seems very useful with sidemount. Dont have to constantly check 2 spgs. Do you guys use integration? The fact that you use a 90 degree on one regulator so you can identify which is which efficiently is actually quite smart. I was a bit surprised about the breakaway boltsnap. What if you dont pull hard enough? What if you accidentally break it? What do you do after breaking it, just let it dangle?
🚀 Reinforce your understanding. 🚀

Great video once again, I'm now convinced that I want to try sidemount diving!
You should!
@@flowstatediversdo you run a course ?
LOL that fish is keen to be in the shots, love it
The fish is a paid actor
2:24 the best diving I've seen in your videos!
I’ve been away from diving for about 10 years, but now getting back into it. Loving your content. Keep up the good the good work.

Thanks! What's holding you back from getting onto 2 cylinders ?
Next video should be about that fish.
Great video, as always. Thank you!!! Are you planning to do a master series on clearing ears/mask? 😊
@linyasen5 Thanks, check our mask removal video it might be something you looking for.
Great work, well explained :)
Glad you think so!
I wondered … if you will show us how to make/tie a breakaway boltsnap?
We are working on sidemount equipment related videos so stay tuned, all this is going to be covered in details
@@flowstatedivers Superb! Thank you so much
is the break-away mechanism (for attaching the bolt snap to long hose) one-time-use or is it some sort of a clip that can be "reloaded" ?

Not a sidemountdiver, but if I should use this trick I would make the 90° the LLLLLLeft one, even at the edge to narcosis still easy to remember.
@@subjektobjektpradikat7902 no. Right angle = right cylinder, long = left is the easiest way to remember
Or get two transmitters and never check a spg again.
This is similar to 'get a fancy dive computer and never calculate your dive plan again.' we promote the exact opposite of this mentality
Here’s one more tip. While switching from necklace to longhose turn the necklace reg upside down to stop freeflow if it happens
could be useful in cold water indeed
Dude clear your mask. That thing is flooded like a rookie’s. 😂😂
@davidsanderson7948 what's rookie about it ? I dive like this 100% of the time so I can clear it when gets foggy just by tipping my head forward.
