I’m trying to read Song of Achilles and thinking it’s going to be a dnf for me… taking a break to reset expectations, because like you said, I fully thought that was going to be a 5 star read based on other reviews… so glad to see it’s not just me that didn’t love it instantly!
Addie LaRue and When In Rome were two of my favorite books of the year and House Across the Lake was one of my worst 😂I'm so curious to see how you like other Sager books!

I agree The Silent Patient is just not the best.. it is probably meant for an entry-level thriller/mystery reader.. I agree the twist was unexpected but nothing truly thrilled me and it was kind of predictable at some level too.
