    I love your videos! You do a really great job of explaining the process without going into the boring details. You always leave me wanting more! More Oyster Traveller! More Kris and Garrett!

    Hey Brooke! It’s me T Ho once again. This was one of your BEST videos yet and I have to say the editing was better than most any video I have seen on UA-cam. Gotta love at 12:46 when Garret leaves you hanging in the high five and you play it off like a champ! And 17:14 when you do the “band together” made me bust up. Had to watch it like 5 times and it gets funnier every time. You crack me up. Anyway this was a true legend of a history lesson and montage of Alaskan wilderness that made my day. Appreciate all you do so please keep them coming! Adios for now from Cali. 😊

      Yeah! Thanks @tho464! I'm really trying to improve the editing with each episode so thanks for letting me know I'm slowly succeeding hurray! Def one of my missions is to crack you up 🤣 glad it's working! I really liked adding some of the history also so glad you liked it too, always makes a place more interesting to know the history and it's also so fascinating =) Enjoy the rest of your summer down south, hope it's not too smokey for ya, as always thanks for dropping me a line!!

      @@_Brooke lucky for us we don’t have any smoke. It was bad when we had CA wildfires a couple years ago but right now we are doing OK. I read some of the other comments and I’m gonna say it again that the editing was top notch but I’m sure you’re gonna keep feeding us gold nuggets of info in future videos, so really looking forward to more. No pressure! 😎. And I loved the outro. Is that what they call it when you end the video? I can see the inner kid in you shining bright. Keep it up!

      @tho464 you are too kind friend! I tried a new format and so far so good! I’m using it again for the next episode and hopefully it has the same effect. Outro ?! I think you’re teaching me 😂 def have to let the inner child shine through it’s the key to youth and happiness!! But you already know that 🙃

    How long can you keep crabs in the hold

    • @_Brooke
      @_Brooke  Рік тому

      @airecraft1 Good question it depends on a few different factors, 1 is the salinity of the water, as opposed to a river mouth which fluctuates with fresh. This can get into the fishhold when you go to town or pass a river, and be no bueno for crabs. They have salinity tests avail for this. If you have good salinity pumping on the crab ideally no longer than two weeks, but I've heard of people holding them up to a month. Our cap starts worrying about the crabs if it's after 2 weeks. Hope this helps =)

    When you go to the fish or crab buyer you pull your pants down and bend over.
