That's not entirely true. Especially if you're trying to reach true fluency, constructing your own sentences is pretty important, especially the more complex an idea becomes. using simple grammar like tenses, positives and negatives, and interrogatives are far better for both parties than having a native figure everything out contextually. Sometimes it's not that simple.

Adding to it, when you learn your mother language as a baby, you always learn vocabulary first, since you only pick up words and gestures at this point. No one expects you to be able to have the grammar of a litterature major at 2 years old.

What I love the most about this is that she's having fun. As someone who's been doing the opposite of what korone is doing, learning japanese. Having fun can be hard especially arounds others so this kind of gives me life and to not quit learning japanese. Does anyone else feels like that?
