This is great for unidirectional cleaning. The flat mops accumulate and carry the dirt on its head i.e. direction of its movement instead of picking it all up. Which is why, all flat mops are shown either wiping clean surface or only in the direction forward or zig-zag motion such that the head with all the dirt is always the first one to move and keeps collecting. This isn't about the brand, but about any flat mop, its a design flaw or maybe useful for cleaning in 1 direction, if anyone does that.

I have this not this brand but I’ve used it than I washed the pads to use it again the pads won’t go through it on the dry side what can I do I really like the unit

Use an "S" pattern like when wiping down a counter with a cloth or sponge.
I have this mop and must say, it is an awesome mop, if mops can be awesome that is :)..
