I love how she calls everyone flower, so sweet and very british. I left England at 4years old but i still love when women refer to me like that or love/pet.
Jesse Ml is it a British thing? I'm from Australia and I call people mate or dude but that's just me.

Its dying a little, Jesse. The older 'silver tops' like me still call people love, sweetheart, pet, etc., and my old mum called people ducky.
She would approach some surly, shady looking character for directions, for instance, and have them eating out of her hands within seconds.
Young people seem not to do it though, which is a shame.
I love these regional quirks and customs, I hope they never die out.

It's a joke from the DVD, on Sarah's first DVD a man fell asleep and Sarah got someone to pretend on every DVD she has done since.

I've finally figured out why Sarah is so funny. It's her stage presence. She's this innocent (appearing) young lady, with a tiny, girlish voice, who talks like normal people do, instead of mincing words and acting holier-than-thou. There is a discontinuity between the appearance and presence, and the "lay it on the line" delivery.
Brilliant.
I love how she really interacts with her audience, it makes her performance so much more dynamic and interesting, the stories she gets from the answers are also hilarious!

Earlier thread said that this was an inside joke. Evidently it happened once for real, and Sarah makes sure that all her DVDs now have someone asleep.
My favourite thing about Sarah is that watching her show and listening to her just feels like hearing her talk about her life and funny stuff that's happened and funny stuff other audiences have said during her shows. It's like hanging out with a really funny friend at a party.

When I rode the bumper car ride as a kid, I always stayed away from the knot of cars and drove around. That was the fun to me. I never understood why on earth people would stand in a long line just to spend their entire ride time stuck in a traffic jam.
