- In this lecture, you will learn and practice, Noun, Adjective and Adverb Phrases. In order to punctuate sentences correctly and avoid fragments, we need to know the difference between phrases and clauses.
There are many different types of phrases and clauses. The first step to identifying the different types, though, is to understand the difference between a phrase and a clause.
A phrase is a related group of words. The words work together as a "unit," but they do not have a subject and a verb, while the clause contains a subject and a verb.
We’ve created a series of videos and tried to teach you the best possible way to learn English. All you have to do to watch the complete video and follow the instructions.
