- In this video, you will practice Phrases. A phrase is a related group of words. The words work together as a "unit," but they do not have a subject and a verb.
There are many different types of phrases and clauses. The first step to identifying the different types, though, is to understand the difference between a phrase and a clause.
In order to punctuate sentences correctly and avoid fragments, we need to know the difference between phrases and clauses. Sentences include a variety of phrases and clauses. But what’s the difference between a phrase and clause, and how can you tell if you’re using them correctly?
Importance of English grammar:
English grammar is one of the most important elements of your language study. Unfortunately, it can also be one of the most complex and difficult if you’re not familiar with the rules and don’t practice them.
Grammar refers to the rules and regulations that govern spoken and written language. Grammar is the code that makes language work. It is through proper grammar that we are able to communicate in a clear manner that people can understand.
Good grammar means writing or speaking in such a way that your choice of words is understandable and follows the basic rules of sentence construction, punctuation, and spelling. So learning English grammar is critically important before thinking of writing or speaking English.

It neither adj cls as he respond nor adv cls as you said. It's a noun phrase. The head word is life and it's a noun, those word with life are only modifiers. The whole phrase answers the question. What they lead? The answer is very interesting life. The underlined phrase function as a direct object.
