Put up a fence with barbed wire, and or a cinder block wall, they just don't want to get their hand's dirty, its not their problem, they don't live in the area, I am so sorry that this problem is happening to all involved, I hope that you all can get some help with a wall to block both the beginning and the end of that alley!!!
Albuqerque has placed large rocks on medians of intersections to stop panhandling and it actually works. Its very difficult to stand or walk on. Seems like an easy fix for this alley.
Block both ends of the alley with cactus plants, duh. It will absolutely work to stop violent savages like it stops wild animals in the desert. Nobody likes to deal with cactus plant thorns.
