In this video on syphilis treatment and management, i have explained in detail the symptoms, Transmission, management and diagnosis of syphilis. Pathophysiology and congenital syphilis are explained in detail. Primary secondary tertiary syphilis and their manifestations are explained. VDRL RPR Dark field microscopy are also explained as well as the conditions in which false positive VDRL is seen.Argyl robertson pupil and aortitis in syphilis. Infectious medicine lecture series is focused on USMLE step 2 ck, nclex and neet PG exams for doctor medical students and nurses.

after three shots pencil.
After 6 months vdrl titer 1:16.
One week back again blood test.
Vdrl positive and tpha 1:80 right now positive.

Non Operative management with antibiotics is done in patients with localised appendicitis without physical findings of diffuse peritonitis or imaging evidence of large abscess, phlegmon, perforation or tumor or appendicolith. There is no standardised antibiotic therapy for non Operative appendicitis management. 50 percent of the patients may devolop recurrent symptoms and readmissions.

Hello dr. I was diagnosed with syphilis 5 months ago.. my rpr was 1:64.. after treatment using doxycycline.. my rpr after 3 months became 1:8
I started to feel symptoms are back again my dr gave me 4 shots rocephin.. and 2.4 million long acting benz pencilin . My rpr now is 1:4, is there any possibility that am having neurosyphilis?

I'm here because of lyme disease. I understand that both lyme and syphilis are spirocete bacteria. Why does the CDC not recognize latent lyme disease. I had a positive lyme test, but it wasn't diagnosed for 2 to 3 years. I'm going on 5 years of antibiotics with no end in sight. Insurance does pay or recognize latent lyme disease...
