    ------ Shimakaze - Japanese Tier X destroyer. Shimakaze, hull number 125, was an experimental destroyer, envisioned as the new generation of destroyer design for the Imperial Japanese Navy, born from the 1939 4th Naval Armaments Supplement Programme. Bigger and greater in tonnage than previous types, she carried a larger, higher pressure power plant than her predecessors, which resulted in the highest speed of any Imperial Japanese destroyer, along with the largest torpedo broadside of any previous destroyer, while still carrying a typical complement of main guns.

    And a stupid enemy helps. In 9 of 10 cases, this tactic would have gone wrong.

    Smart move at the end to play for time. though i would have fired at least one salvo of torpedoes through the smoke after you made it You might have gotten lucky to hit and sink him or made hims have to veer off to put him further off your tail.

    good torpedo game. however, any decent player would switch ammo type or shoot super structure after getting 4 salvos with only shatters...

    Low tier play. Once the 3rd cap was taken, the captain pulled out a 1D 10T card. The last set of torps should never have been sent. The torps just gave the opponent a good idea of the location and heading of the captain's DD. With that done, the captain should have taken the ship and headed for the next map over.
    Having said that, the last 2 DDs on the other team handed the game away. Instead of pushing the 2 battleships the opposing DD should have headed for cap A to get the team back to a 2 to 1 cap lead. Had that happened, the other team could have won on points.
    Basically, the video shows the steady decline in skill level of the players in the game. If this is "TopTier" play, happy to not be playing any more.

      @@Zor4n1 Did I hurt yo pwetty wittle fweelings? Get over yourself kids and grow some skin so you can take critique. Better yet, make it your goal to become a good player so that garbage decision making like this isn't heralded as something good and worth striving for. I would honestly be happy if I checked on another WoWs video in a year and is actually showed intelligent decision making. I don't expect it, but I can hope. However, if I don't point out the stupid is a video I do watch the chance of that happening is lowered.

      @@winoodlesnoodles1984 I would be happy to see one of your videos since you pose as God with your words and your criticisms. I played a match that I thought was good but not because of the result but because it was practically lost. because we were 3 against 7 and 130 to 700 score. I'm sorry if my terrible game didn't manage to enthuse you but I repeat... It's always easy to shoot others down... and since you don't even play honestly anymore, you can keep your comments to yourself

      @@Zor4n1 Seriously?!?!?! Have you never heard of Jingles? The point is that it isn't just me that will point out the mistakes made in this video. This is a matter of the losing team throwing the game harder. For the record, I have a solo warrior in an Emerald in a tier 7 match. I didn't win by killing everyone. As a player on the high end of average, I wasn't anywhere close to that good. I had assisted the team in managing caps. It came down to a Nelson and myself defending the middle cap in a 2v5. Holding that cap meant our team holding a 2 to 1 cap advantage. It was the correct place to defend. I kept the other side's 2 DDs off of the Nelson to keep it alive as long as possible and when it was clear the Nelson was about to die, I headed for the hills before anyone turned their attention to me. The other team taunted me as they started to get the third cap and stop my team's points gain at 991 with 50s left in the match. I simple pointed out, they would not see me again and because they were below 800 points at the time, my team would win on points. My team didn't win due to god tier play by me, they won because the player left at the end was smart enough to nothing. Many matches in WoWs are lost due to lack of that skill. This match was nearly one of those. Please, at least learn that skill from this.

    I hate this playstile. No support to cap or to hunt the enemy sub.
    Just pure egoism. And yeah, no radar and no CV. No skill required.

    • @Zor4n1
      @Zor4n1 10 місяців тому +1

      I'm sorry you didn't like my way of playing but my teammates in the division told me to go, that they would take care of the cap and the search for the sub. It wasn't a selfish choice but a team effort.

      He had over 30k spotting damage. If his team hadn’t died like flies he would’ve had even more. I bet OP is the type of player that spams “I NEED INTELLIGENCE DATA!”.

      Bs he played the Shima just as you are supposed to. Stay stealthy and kill BB:s The enemy team threw the game very skillfully by packing three ships in the little gap between C and B. I can imagine that the gdansk player cursed them in chat. He was the red teams best player anyway with 1578 xp and 3 kills.
      No wonder the Yamato went down like that. The player ended up last on enemy team with only 169 xp. He hardly used his guns at all or alternatively was a terrible gunner. And getting hit with torps and still continue sailing straight in a line. It is on the red team you need to find the unskilled players.

      @@trident6547 Yes he played well, I get that , but there was no air spotting that usually a Shima has to deal with because the CV knows if he doesnt coutnteract him - he will hunt him down ( as I do )
