We ship a lot of hardwoods over seas. Years ago I worked for a small custom furniture shop. Every piece was 100% custom made. The shop has been in business for 25 years and they told me that in more recent years Asian countries have started buying up all of our hardwoods. The lumber suppliers give them first pick of the lumber orders because they buy way more than the American companies.
Your dog was waiting for something more exciting to happen. She had that look " you got me out here for this! " They are beautiful dogs and you're very lucky to have such good company.
$500 rent increases isn't much in today's market. Just seems out of control glad I bought a house a few years ago. Hoping there's a brighter future for young people looking to get their first place.
+1 on the Saniflow-brand pumps. I installed a gray-water version (no macerating feature) a decade ago for a shower install in our basement where I recessed the shower pan below the floor to gain ceiling height. Twice I’ve had to perform minor maintenance on it. Each time I noticed the pumping noise changed in pitch. Opening the unit revealed years of soap scum buildup. Not fun to clean (gross!) but not hard with a garden hose. All clean it operates like new. Maybe not for everyone since it’s not 100% maintenance free, but a super affordable way to move water reliably.
I finished my basement and installed a sani-compact last year and was excited to see this series play out. Glad to know you approve. So far I've had zero issues.
I’ve used several of these Saniflo systems and have never had any issues. I will be putting one of these in a house we just purchased in Portugal! I believe the one sold in the UK comes with the appropriate electrical.
Great video ..do you have the video for the connection to vent and waste line ; how to attach to a existing bathroom planning to have back to back except the lines are behind the first bathroom.. Thank you have a blessed day and be blessed
Handyman, the Saniflo Systems are awesome. I have installed 2 Systems so far, at previous homes, and I'm currently installing my third one (a Sanibest), at my current home, in the basement. I've never had any issues with them.
That’s a decent bathroom considering what that place looked like when you started. That Sanigrind is a nice option to have compared to the mess it would have been to plumb that place. Counter looks good and your clients are probably very pleased with the whole room.
Great video as always.. Do you have the video to see how you connect it to the waste line for discharge...and where can I buy the flange or i can use any flange.. The problem with mine is it's ok if it's back to back however the sink toilet bathtub are behind the closet and I wanted to change the closet into your perspective.. Any help Thank you have a blessed day and be blessed
This entire bit is super awesome.... Seriously. The most enjoyable part(s) of the "handyman" profession is networking and problem-solving! Thank You!!!
Looks very nice. Only thing I don’t like is the door on the cabinet. Looks a little old fashioned compared to everything else looking very modern. I just got glass installed on two showers that is nearly identical to what you have there. Both are leaking. 😐 Glass company is coming back out Friday to take a look. How are those doing?
Glad your staying healthy Handyman! Appreciate all you do to share your projects. PS.. it's taking almost 30 years but the epic of Soylent Green seems to be coming full circle...lol... Maybe it's a good thing this time 👍
Just a caution, if your customers use regular acidic toilet bowl cleaner, it will cause issues fairly quickly. If the shower runs through it, they may need to be cautious what they use to clean the shower also. They are easy to work on, but can obviously be messy.
I thought meant a finger or toe nail, not a nail nail 😂 Great job again, and not surprised at all, since you’ve all done fantastic amazing work👍🏻👍🏻 Cheers✌🏻☺️
I have had to work on ours three times now....first time it had to be replaced, second and third times it was 'clogged'. It still haunts my dreams. It is not anything I would wish on my worst enemy, emptying the toilet and the pump.
Handyman, how do you sharpen the grindin blades on the Turd Grinder Pro after a few years? Just kidding.. but seriously, can you imagine finishing the business, flushing, and not hear that come on? Horrors!!! :D
What kinda pup you have? Reminds me of my doggo, he's a borador apparently. Black labrador and boarder collie. I wish he was full lab cause he has so much energy lol

The price of homes, Cars and tickets to Disney Land are up so much it doesn't make sense.
@@TheHandyman1 Disneyland tickets out here in LaLa land are $150. Oh and don't forget $50 to park the car.

I installed one in a basement for a laundry room. Works fabulous. I believe the one I installed was called saniflo
This one is a saniflo I think I got the model name mixed up.
I started my own handyman business in August or so, but was curious as to what program you use to do your estimates, invoices, and contracts?
See his "Handyman Business" channel. It's all there :)
I think they are going to be next weeks sponsor on this channel.

The bathroom came out really well. Do you happen to know the make/model of the large mirror with medicine cabinet? I like that.
I don't, but I think it came from the lowes website.

What pump do you have?
Hay Handyman, Where is the intro?
I forgot. I will get it in the next one.
Nice job !!! handyman
Does the bathroom pump also handle the shower waste water?
Yes. It handles it all with no problems. You can run the shower the sink and flush the toilet at the same time.

Where’s the TP holder?
No Idea
The Sani-flo grinder got it - crunch! 😉
They will probably have one on a stand, so it doesn’t have to be wall mounted.
Did this bathroom really take you 7 months to finish?
No.
That pump is able to push poop and toilet paper?
Yes.

Hi
Hello
Whoa dude, you're now facial hair challenged!
The beard is gone! You just have lost 5 lbs.
Up at 6am and done at 3am? When did you find time to cut the beard is my question.
Something looks different about you...can't quite figure it out though. ;-)
love the beard(less)!
Wow I had not noticed till I read your comment.
You forgot your beard handyman 🧔
Why is
that dog on the counter?
WTF? Where did the beard go? This is a major travesty HM, did someone hold you down to shear you?
You missed that episode? Holy cow - it was his best video yet! He got a little too close to the Sani-flo gears & ...
Will your beard still be able to comment here occasionally?
there use to be a guy that commented under a channel called "the handyman's beard"
