These are very cute thanks for the idea,I'm going to make these but I'm going to cover them in Epsom salt,its very cheep too,it gives it that sugary look. I've covered glass with it b4 and even added food color to the salt to what ever color I needed.

Love the gumdrops . You did a great job . Now I can make my own . Your right about them being so hard to find . Almost impossible . Just a few small ones is all I've ever found .
What a great tutorial!! I LOVED these gumdrops! They are so hard to find and what a clever idea you had to make them yourself!! I loved the idea of the crystals and they added so much sparkle and texture. I have made some myself using a silicone mold and air dry clay. I loved your results!

Hi Lara, great video Friend!! I made some these this summer using papier-mache eggs from Michaels and yes they were $2.99 each and guess what, they were not hollow in the middle. They had a rubber egg linerinside and were very hard to cut. I used glitter and diamond dust mixed with epsom salt, they look cute, but I really love the way yours look with the beads. I subscribed last year right before Christmas when you made the Gingerbread Boy and Girl Ornaments.

Great idea! If someone was not comfortable using spray foam maybe could just use the top of the egg molds and paint the plastic eggs to be the gumdrops too! Thank you for sharing.
I guess they could, they just need to be comfortable in spending more money as well, since that is a much more expensive way.

If you keep an eye on the expanding foam and spray the top with water it will not expand as much. So you don't have to cut off as much

What is the brand name of the PVA glue?
Hi, I tried the spray foam in the plastic molds, but I can’t get the tops to dry. It’s still liquid foam after 3 days.

How much clear beads did you end up using as they are quite expensive x I love these and defiantly want to try
