I have a Prograde Digital Gold Series CFexpress Type-A 2.0 Memory Card 240GB for my FX30. Works like a champ.
It means that it will pass the test but Pergear are not giving money to Sony or whoever gives the badges VPG. This is also why they are cheaper. They also have 800MB/s write cards and they also do not have VPG200 or VPG400 :). But if you use them for photos - no problems.
Back in the days Samsung SD cards were much better than Sandisk or Sony but Sony were not allowing their cameras to use them for video... They were working perfectly on Panasonic and other brands... :D
It doesn't mean they didn't pass it. They just didn't pay for it, to make it cheaper. I have been using 2x the 520gbit for almost a year now. No problems recording 4k120 on the FX6.

Actually helpful, thanks
I have that one never had a problem i dont use s/q but i do shoot in 60fps in all i never Drop a frame
Sustainable speeds as well
I have 4 of these, and i can record in all formats in the fx30. For more than a year now. In the fx30 there is no need to be able to record at 400, no really. I have recorded 240fps 1080p and 120 4k all intra for hours. What you said is true but, ...
The message is still annoying tho 😆
What message? @@JustinPhillip
More important topic would be cards claiming false VPG ratings when the CFA hasn’t actually approved them
Could also be they were never tested in which case they did not fail.
