Sad. A person has to go through all this. When people stay at your property and don’t pay rent. They should have to leave right away. Our system needs fixed I would never want to be a landlord.
Can a county court bailiff force entry for a section 21 possession order if the tenant doesn’t open the door? If not, can a high court enforcement officer force entry?
What if you pay off the arrears? And trying to work with the housing association but they are ignoring you and you have a letter saying they have applied for a warrant😢
Did you get it back ? Did you need bailfs? How much did the renter ow? Did they crash the place,or steal furnitures? Did you manage to kerp your property without going bankerupt or loose it to the bank? Im horrifyed at your ridiculess law system, who let renters destroy landlords. Its so bad!
I’ve never been in arrears. The agent 1 week ago asked for a rent increase of 20% and today threatened me with eviction as he’d not heard from me. This is a pretty aggressive, bullying approach.
@@Neilukuk what do you want to know? Manchester City centre. Fortunately I had the landlords details, contacted him directly and agreed a deal. This eviction threat is nothing to do with the landlord, it the agents way to behave and how they get want they want (commission) by frightening tenants into accepting and not negotiating.
Your in wrong. How long did you stay in this apartment? It IS normal ho regulate rent acoordingly , the value of the money . Everything else are regulated too. Do you have the idea your rent should stay put on the same sum ? For how long? And do rent include other things? To little information, but from what you are telling, you have to know you shouldnt rrally complain. Btw,you paying on time , is a given, its nothing one get any prize or praise for....
@@Sam-jy5tj And also ,did you think that land lords ,or agents ,should negotiate any raise in rent or utility's ?. Thats not how it works! Also, off course agent will be paid. Did you feel they should work for free ? Pay your rent,on time . Dont like the rent , then move. Your expectations are just wrong.

No, the rent is rent.. it isn’t for bills. It isn’t regulating rent, it is a rent increase and I never said that this wasn’t allowed or wasn’t normal it was the approach used with me. If you’ve any experience then you will appreciate a tenant who pays on time, is no hassle and looks after the place.
No. Landlords are taken advanted of by bad tenants whi expect the landlord accomodate them. Its nasty. I know landlord loose everything, because of shitty tenant. He had his own house, worked hard for it ,and had loans. And when parents died,he inherred their apartment. With it, another loan on the apartment, and the taxes. When tenant stopped the rent, he lost everything. Everything. People need to understand, most landlords arent rich, they need the rent to keep what they have. Its nasty, how so many act like they have rights to use the landlord. Nasty ,and ignorant.
You are actually talking like landlords are taking advantage. Thats stupid. They dont get rich. And if people are not content on their rent agreement, then move! Sigh...
Shouldn't be councils taken to court for giving that kind of advice ? For causing damage and losses to landlords?

Took 18 months redundancy from Southwark Council in 2017. Just as Universal Credit was coming in.
Best thing I ever did!

What if your tenant is deliberately withholding rent, because they want to extort compensation from you?
Hello. If my tenancy agreement is in BTL company name who apply for possession claim , name of company director or name of the company ?
Is it even legal for councils to give that kind information?
Been granted posession of my property. Hopefully she leaves in the 14 days otherwise next stage Baliffs.

The most landlords I know they are serving notice 21 is because they now the rent market is quite high they want a lot of profit.
