VWG HU66 how easy are they to pick?

- Apologies for the rough video its rather difficult for me to find the time to make videos at the moment. but finally found a bit of quiet time.
Anyway as you can see with a bit of practice using the lishi picks you can open pretty much all the locks the pick is designed for.
The lishi picks are by far the best for car locks I'll soon be testing the multipick vag jigglers so watch out for those 👍

Very easy! I know of more tools for this lock than any other! Turbodecoder, Kwik Decoder, Falle tool, inner groove pick(rake), hand picks, Jackmaster, Jigglers, overlifters...Lishi (4 tools now?). For some reason the HU66 has been attacked like no other lock (maybe the Tbbe) and it is particularly susceptible to a huge number of attacks. Poor lock, lol.
By the way, the TurboDecoder is more reliable than the Kwik Decoder for a few reasons...but it is still not 100%.
I'd like to have a play with a turbo decoder but way to expensive to buy lol I believe the hu66 was picked on because it's fitted to a lot of different cars and loads of them are premium cars and are a favourite for car thief's. Lock pick manufacturers want sales so will make picks for the most popular that people want. The new 162(9) &(10) are a massive improvement over the 66 and should have changed to those years ago lol

I got the case from ebay just search lishi case cost around 30 pounds and does not come with the picks

How do you know which locks are 1 up 1 down and which are 2 up 2 down, is it just feel?

where would you recommend buying a proper one? not those chinese replica.
If you mean the locks I buy used ones off eBay or from scrap yards new ones from dealers are way to expensive to practice on 👍
