PCL ligament is back side ligament of the knee. PCL tear : PCl is the back ligament of the knee. PCL is twice as thick as ACL.It is a very stout ligament. It is the centraliser ligament of the knee. PCL injury is luckily a rare injury. it is much rare as compared to ACL tear.
PCL injury is common in two wheeler accidents. Dashboard injury is a common mechanism of ACL injury. PCL ligament has 2 bundles Anterolateral bundle and posteromedial Bundle.
The 2 main types of PCL injury are PCL ligament tear and PCL bony avulsion.
Treatment of PCL tear is PCL reconstruction.

Hello sir i have met with an accident recently.the car directly hit to my right. knee .so in MRI reports PCL had got damaged.so i concelt a knee specialist he said there is no need of surgery you will get recover by wearing knee brace. Its been almost 20days but i did see any change in the knee movement what is the solution.please reply

Hello sir, i had PCL injury, but didn't perform any surgery because recently i had tibial surgery...so doctor recommended to use knee brace immobilizer, so will it be useful and will my shin bone come back to normal position? And how many weeks should i be using knee brace to make my leg straight?

Sir I had an bike accident on 2nd October 2021…and I had type 2 fractured on my knee my acl was injured( grade2) and my pcl pulled off with little piece of bone …then my doctor done my surgery 11 days ago used a screw to fix my pcl….now I’m doing my exercise at home but I still I can’t full straight or bend my knee…. How long will it take to recover sir….please urgent reply that will helpful for me sir …..

I had my pcl+acl surgery on 21.12.2020 at your hospital. As of now, I am wearing pcl hinge brace all the time and doing exercise as far it allows. It is almost 4 months now. What exercises should I further do now??
