Vena Sera has a lot of layers of production; it sounds immense on the record but live it lacks of background. Chevelle doesn't use any backing tracks or live sequencing, I appreciate the raw performance of the trio but there are songs they doesn't translate too well like this one.

One of those songs that doesn't have the same atmosphere when played live.

It's because they limit themselves to 3 instruments live. They should've had a second guitarist this whole time.
