So lovely to see her happy, healthy and joyful after having a chronic illness and challenges.
Healthy? Have you seen the size of her?
I've suffered from M.E for 30 years and spent most of my life bedbound. Miranda has been such a huge advocate for our community and spreading awareness for those suffering alone and forgotten and shut away from life. I suspected she would one day say she too has been bedbound and suffering from chronic fatigue...I'm sad to hear this to be true but thank her so much for being our voice. I can't wait to read the book. I've loved Miranda for many years and wish her all the very best.

The interview says she has Lyme disease which was misdiagnosed as ME. I wonder how many other people in the uk could have been misdiagnosed as it's not readily tested for as in other countries.
@@micheleellerby8565 My neighbour found this out when she went to Australia for 3 months to stay with her son.

Lyme disease is horrible and I wouldn't wish it on anybody. It can be treated successfully. We desperately need diagnostic methods and genuine, specific treatment for ME, which is devastating but poorly understood. There has been progress but still not much to offer victims.
I too have suffered from M.E. for 29 years, and totally agree with everything you say - Thank you Miranda !!!
As an ME sufferer, I can empathise with how excluded from life Miranda must have felt. But so delighted that she has found "her person" through it all, that made me tear up a bit. I have always loved you Miranda, and am so happy for you.

I just binge-watched every Miranda episode last week, feeling a kinship with her and the gang. It’s my ritual when my depression hits hard. It gives me hope as a woman who is herself chronically ill and has been battling with it daily since 24 & is now 39 this month (23rd) I'm completely alone and not married and feel like I've lost what's supposed to be the best years of your life.
I feel so depressed so sad watching the whole world live their lives, whilst I just rot away in bed. So sick in so much pain. So lonely with absolutely no one in my life. Just one sole online friend who is also chronically ill like me. (Although she doesn't come online often as she's so weak and ill)
I hope I get to have my happy moment someday too.
Love to all fellow chronic illnesses people. I hope you all find happiness joy and love. And all you need to be happy 😊
