- Oh dear...this one was so much fun. and it did make me blush.... After the song I will give my analysis and I translated the German lyrics into English again so if you only want the music reaction and no talk or translation, skip the last part. But if you do watch it..

I like the idea that the song is about the band Rammstein who performs for one or two hours in foreign countries and where Till often says a few words to the audience in the local language.

As you are interested in some funny details of the German language, I just want to explain one very lyrical expression: "dem Missverständnis zum Verdruss"
If you would translate it literally, it would be: to make it unpleasant for the misunderstanding (as if the misunderstanding would be a person)
The meaning is just: to avoid misunderstandings
"dem Missverständnis zum Verdruss" is of course not a phrase one would use in normal German conversations. It is a language figure for poems and the like.
That is the best way in my opinion to react to Rammstein in special and to other songs over all. First getting the vibes (and visual impressions) and then get deeper about lyrics and meanings. I like it, I am looking forward for further reactions.

Hi, ich mag deine Reactionen zu den Rammstein Video´s. Ich denke das auch in diesem ein bißchen mehr steckt als im Vordergrund zu sehen... Im Making of wird von der Kolonialzeit gesprochen und den Missionaren, die neben der Sprache auch die Religion mitgebracht haben, sowie nach den letzten Aufdeckungen auch Kindesmißbrauch stattgefunden hat. Ich denke ebenso, dass das Video auf den Sextourismus anspielt. und alles in einem netten, fröhlichen Lied...
Wie so oft. Aber ich denke mir, es ist auch ein Hinweis darauf, dass wir auch Ausländer sind, wenn wir Deutschland verlassen. 😂

"Du kommen mit, ich dir machen gut!" is foreigner German for "you come with me, I laid you down good." And the Russian part is "Ja lublju tebja" and means just "I like you very much". Great Reaction.

2 concerts in Groningen in juli were sold out in minutes. I was lucky last year to get tickets for their show in Nijmegen. And one thing: if you go to one of their concerts and have tickets for the "Feuerzone", don't ware a necklace. My wife got home with a nice burn...

My neighbor is from Syria. He''s a refugee. He speaks Dutch well and he learning and working. He really wants to participate and i told him that's awesome. So I didn't ask why he fled cause that's personal but why the Netherlands and not like Germany or France. He said, they are more hostile to foreigners/ refugee's. The people so not the government. And this is brewing over here too. Shortage on houses and space and house prices going up. Asking ourselves if we have the space to help.
So could this be this song that's like a mirror. Like you resent foreigners but at the same time we're traveling the globe ourselves and expect to be respected and treated well ourselves. That's what i mean with the mirror. Cause I'm quite sure they didn't put in a bunch of half naked women showing their boobies just cause it's a cool. It's a message, a mirror.
And there's a reference to colonial times of explorers. They are welcomed but we don't welcome them.

Resentment again foreigners coming to us. We were welcomed exploring the world and we are not welcoming them when they come to us. Ausländer is about this. We are all ausländer. It's a mirror.

Ich bin ein Fan der Band "Rammstein" nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Ich möchte keiner Armee beitreten !! Armeen haben die dumme Angewohnheit sich gegenseitig zu bekämpfen. Rammstein selbst haben schlechte Erfahrung mit der KISS Armee gemacht und ich könnte mir vorstellen das das nicht im Sinne von Rammstein ist.

Ausländer? Die Grenzen haben andere, wohl sehr wichtige Leute gezogen. Grenzen, werden wohl immer unser freiheitsliebendes Herz beschneiden. Rammstein hat wie immer was rausgehauen aber bei all dem Spass - der song ist nicht wirklich gut und das Video eher mau. Totzdem ein sehr unterhaltsames Video von Dir.
