There are two pots in sabacc - a Main pot and a Sabacc pot. Our group antes up putting two copper pieces in the main pot and one copper piece in the sabacc pot. We also have a house rule that if you want to pick a card from the discard pile, you must put one copper piece in the main pot (You pay for the knowledge).
That's the fun part of playing sabacc. You never know when your hand will be spiked. You have a "pure sabacc" hand (two sylop cards), and all of a sudden, your hand is junked.
the a video game star wars outlaw has it and explain the rules or a version of it witch is a bit different then others and yours. the card but basically this is the jest of it.
the original game (legends) you role multiple dice (or more likely cause its in the universe all the cards are electronic and switch randomly on their own) so you have a chance of some of your cards changing and not your whole hand which i think works A LOT better but theres more to the rules and im honestly still looking which is why i came across this video
The one thing I would change is the betting system. The reason for it is that I would change it to beginning of each turn they would have to bet to continue the play. Think of it similar to Poker
@@OmegaGiven true but you don't know the next flip by the house until you bet wish you could mimic the same thing by able to look at your cars but not knowing what's under the drawl deck
Really helpful video. Learned how to play and teach this is about an hour of watching and rewatching this video

I love hearing more house rules makes it much more interesting what people put together to make it interesting
In the basic version, you would still roll the dice a third time before you flip your cards to show your hand.
yea even more of a reason to not use it cause that just throws any strategy out the window and can throw off any bluffing

Glad you could stop by. Check out the code where I made a new card game from sabacc cards called squadrons. I find it fun.

If you read that little booklet it says lowest numbers win not higher
Probably misheard me lowest to 0 wins but if tie then it’s the highest cards used to. Get to the lowest that’s why +10 -10 will beat a +1 -1
