Mr Chad. Love watching your videos. I have a question for you sir. Im going to be restoring my truck. Im looking at purchasing a good but budget friendly Corded DA Sander. What are your thoughts and what would you recommend.
Happy birthday Doug!! The floor looks awesome Chad. Nate did an awesome job helping you bead roll them panels. This car deserves to be painted to be honest. Awesome video Jolene!!!
My husband and I bought the exact same model and year coupe about 33 years ago. It had a few more parts, but looked much the same. We always wondered whether we should chop it, but hesitated because we didn't know what it would like like, but now we know we will chop it because we can see exactly how it will look. We have loved every episode of the build on this car, because we can use this as a guideline to do the rebuild on our car. Hopefully we can retire out soon so we can get the time! GREAT JOB on this, Chad and Jolene.
Don't listen to idiots like Stephen. It will be fine. Some people just like to pretend they know everything. If it's what you would like, chop away and enjoy
@@stephenk79-rc1il A typical wannabe who's mad because he can't make people think he knows everything and actually has experience and knowledge about this stuff. It's just sad really but maybe someday you'll grow out of it. We all mature at some point you'll get there too.
Bad Chad, the fabrication of the square stock and then floor panels is absolutely brilliant. You get a vision in your head and you are able to build what your vision is !! That’s remarkable in my book….🤟🏼✌️😎🥇🥇
For me watching your Bad Chad channel and Jolene’s jolene channel is like going to automotive school I can learn lots of techniques watching you(Bad Chad), Nathan, and Douglas
To be clear, love the channel, content is awesome, love Chad, the Queen and the crew. But when Chad stops welding to inspect every single individual spot weld when clearly the panel is flat it seriously screws my ocd..🤣 just weld the sucker !!! 🤣 you are good sir !! You tack well sir !!! Pull the mutha effin trigger son !!!!! 🤣 love your work. 💯💯💯
Motor and trans should have been lower in the frame that drive shaft tunnel would have been lot smaller more room for seats and better drive shaft angle
You could cut a 2 inch strip of that steel sheet, brake it at a 90 and half a 1” flange on each side. Plug weld em together and no need for square stock along that bottom between the “studs” or leave a bit of excess on that flat panel next time and bend a flange on it.
Your honestly one of the only channels that actually shares and shows us what to do. I would like to see the last couple cars finished, like the hot wheels car and i definitely wantvto see this done
I'm watching the bonus episode with Chad welding to nice music. Iust say that I'm enjoying it so much more than the tutorial and constant cutting and grinding. It's actually relaxing. I'm still watching instead of fast forwarding.😊
Chad & Jolene, I hope you enjoy your Saturday evening! Chad I noticed that Rooster said the same thing as I was thinking. Which is that I would screw the top down on the console in case you need to get at the shifter without getting under the car. Also, I have already said that for Jolene's safety you should make a drive shaft hoop! It is easy for you to make in 15-20 minutes and it is made of heavier metal than the floor and it will stop the driveshaft from coming through the floor and hurting someone racing the car! Jolene great work as always, you do such a good job with the camera, the video, and the production of it all!
I didn’t realize that your square tube skeleton wasn’t fully welded to the frame. That it will be cut free from frame and floor will go with the body. It’s not ingenious, simply the RIGHT way to do it !!! Great job Chad 👍🏽
Eyeballing cuts is one of my favorite activities to do. I’m a tinner by trade but not hvac. Architectural sheet metal copper roofs and such. Dabbled in bodywork for a short while and enjoyed the shit out of. Would love to get back into it slowly building up my tool supply so when I do work on my truck I can go full send. Like how ya work man. Good stuff.
Makes total sense why you are building it the way you are, people just love making negative comments. Trying to bring you down is easier than trying to build themselves up.
Mr. Chad , the last panel that you put on near the shift , consider screwing it down instead in case something needs to be done to the shifter. Easy to take off and on.
I cant say I fully understand this concept but I see it as a great learning opportunity and look foward to seeing the progression, rooting for your success.👍👍🇺🇲
Enjoyed this sunday programming over breakfast! Great job chad! Keep on truckin'! Jolene's camera work is impeccable!❤❤ keep up the excellent content! Many blessings!❤❤❤😊
G'day Bad Chad, I think this build is really coming together nicely. The only thing that concerns me is the top console panel and the gear leaver. Fixing the panel could cause problems removing the gearbox. Thanks for sharing the knowledge man ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.
I love the haircut even though you said don’t focus on my haircut. Anyway it makes us look more alike. AND 🎊🎉🎂HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOUGULES🎂🎉🎊 I absolutely love and appreciate everyone on this show. AND Chad has the best eye for the laser precision work that he does with especially the zipcut and he never forgets to debur the edges where he cuts it ether. And Bad Chad is extremely lucky to have the ( BEST ) and (🔥HOTTEST🔥) Video camera 🎥woman their is. As Jolene’s work is absolutely STELLAR.

Thank you, Chad and Jolene for the continent. I sure appreciate watching it.
What a transformation it looks awesome
You are a good teacher, step by step and the reason for each step.
Love the show! I watch it all the time.😊

Looks really good Chad! Cheers
I'm always amazed at how much work you get done in a short period of time.
Thanks for sharing with us
🤔I think I would screw the top drive shaft panel for easy access & add a driveshaft LOOP for Safety
I watch you every day, love it , I also watch Vice Grip garage, plus DD speed shop ! Love all three !
Said the same thing rooster
Great idea rooster!!!
You think ?

The floor is looking really great
Happy birthday Doug!!!!
It really is a very smart way of doing it fast simple, and gets the job done
Thanks for bringing us along Bad Chad, this floor and suspension work has taught me a ton!!🤩
The floor is looking beautiful guys I'm really impressed 👏 👌
Great work.
Chad if you clamp a piece of square stock behind those panels you could just push it up tight weld it then take out the square stock
Happy Birthday, Doug. And many, many more!
Another great video! Thanks for sharing!

Looks good all bead rolled out...really coming together...cya tomorrow
Happy birthday, Doug !!
Looks amazing. You have helped me so much with my project. Thank you
Floor looks awesome
Great job on floor pan fab and install looks clean
Crazy angle on the driveshaft
needs to drop the rear of the gearbox down
It will change after the body weight and rest of parts are put on
Motor and trans should have been lower in the frame that drive shaft tunnel would have been lot smaller more room for seats and better drive shaft angle
Its being made for Jolene to drag race it. I’ll be fine!
@@tommywilliams5135 I've said the same thing all along for different reasons

Floor panels look great😊 nice work!

Yes make a driveshaft loop, sanctioned tracks say it is a must with slicks.
@@FrankKunkel The driveshaft loop issue is an important discussion Chad will probably discuss with Nate
Awesome job 🎉🎉❤❤❤
Would the driver line tunnel be strong enough to hold up if the drive line was to break?
Chad your floor panels look great, like a pro.
Drill holes in hockey pucks, make body mounts !!
He uses boat trailer rollers, no drilling required.
I didn’t realize that your square tube skeleton wasn’t fully welded to the frame. That it will be cut free from frame and floor will go with the body. It’s not ingenious, simply the RIGHT way to do it !!! Great job Chad 👍🏽
woww beautiful floor PANEL GREAT JOB
Looking good!!!
Check your driveshaft angle to transmission and rear diff. Generally less than 3 degrees provides recommended angle. Just a quick check
It's past checking now needs to add a CV joint to make up for the angle just like on a lifted 4x4
I would get that drive line balanced
Maybe try doing a curved trans tunnel?

hi Chad Jolene & Fina Happy Birthday Doug & Nate hope you had a great day 🥳🥳🥳🥳😎
ONly problem with this "bad" job is now it can only be painted on one side looks good on TV and here comes the rust
Looking good - you're getting there day by day for sure.
You putting driveshaft loop in for safety?
Don't matter never going down the road like the Bugatti wedding
Hello everyone hope you’re all having a great weekend
Go for it Team Hiltz

Bad Chad and there is nothing wrong with that. Working hard!
Happy birthday GUYS
Another great job Chad keep up the good work 😊
Great work!
Thanks for everything Chad and Jolene we appreciate the content. The car is looking great so far, that floor is A+

Happy Birthday Doug from one birthday boy to another!
Chad are you mounting any rubber spacer between the floor and frame..I would add 2 at the rear in the trunk area for a total of 6 attaching points
