In 1997 Labour won a massive majority which meant they had the power to reform politics to keep the Tories out forever, Labour squandered their time in office which led to a Tory led coalition, a small majority in 2015 and then an 80 seat majority in 2019. At each stage the Tories started out reckless, then got braver in 2015, then total manic in 2019, and all this because Labour refused to step up when they had the chance.
Reeves speaks about drawing lines, maybe she should draw the line this time and be part of the next government who makes sure this is the last election fought using FPTP and introduce PR before the next election otherwise what is the point of a Labour party doing anything good only for the Tories to slip in and reverse anything Labour has done but make things worse.
This good cop bad cop needs to end. Labour pretending to work in our interests while playing Tory caretakers need to end.

Borrowing was cheap
Borrowing to invest in infrastructure was sound
Spending into the economy creates jobs, stimulates demand increases GDP and tax receipts
