Handling Difficult Relationships

- The question is that you teach us to see all beings as divine especially mothers. I live with my in-laws. My mother in law is cruel and wicked, always complaining, judging and harsh. It is difficult to feel love towards her due to her opinions and wickedness. Do wicked people exist? If we are to see ourselves in all beings then am I also wicked and cruel?
It is not easy. The greatest attachment, it is arguable but is quiet realistic that the greatest attachment a mother has to her children. And now when they get married and they come home and everything is different, suddenly everybody is expecting perfection. Mother in law is expecting that my daughter in law should be perfect. The daughter in law is expecting the same from her husband and her mother in law. But, what they forget that it is something new for everybody and if you at least from your side don’t say hurtful words.
Now, we are brought up in an environment where we are not taught patience. We are not taught that okay if somebody is elder, maybe just for a moment you don’t have to really show what all you know and maybe just be quiet at that moment or maybe you may have to speak.

Swami ji i m trying to improve some one through my love... but some time i got confused becaue it is not an easy thing.. peoples who are wrong are very tough and full of ego they dont want to accept what they have done.. but i understand it will work on long run.. koti naman prabhu.
I read your comment and though it was directed to Swamiji , couldn't resist responding. Some people don't change. And change can happen only when that person really wishes to change. So set some timeframe...if no change happens let your expectations go...

@@nonu1401 yes you can try whole life but that is entirely your decision. So you or anyone need to have mindset that how much we get hurt we still try...kind of we destroy our life for it..but at end that person changes you never know. For some even death can't change them. So whatever decision you make make it with rational thought as well not only emotional.
@@nonu1401 also Swamiji isn't doing meditation n prayer for us. If you read his history he is doing that for his own inner desire for self realisation and in that process he is helping us others as well. If I remember his blogs properly and as suggested in another comment as well we all owe to be respected n loved. We all need to make adjustments n compromises as well but no such that we feel suffocated. So it is each person's individual journey. Whichever way we decide preparing of mind for same and accepting it without yearning for if things happened other way helps.....
